Venkateswara (, ), also known as Venkatachalapati, Venkata, Balaji and Srinivasa, is a Hindu deity, described as a form or avatar of the god Vishnu. He is the presiding deity of Venkateswara Temple, Tirumala, Venkateswara Temple, Tirupati. His consorts, Padmavati (Hinduism), Padmavati and Bhudevi, are avatars of the goddess Lakshmi, the consort of Vishnu. Etymology and other names Venkateswara literally means "Lord of Venkata (hill), Venkata". The word is a combination of the words ''Venkata'' (the name of a hill in Andhra Pradesh) and ''iśvara'' ("Lord"). Balaji Wafers is a snack food manufacturer and distributor in India. Founded in 1974, it produces and distributes a variety of potato chips and other grain-based snack foods. History The company is owned by Chandubhai Virani, who was born into a family of farmers in Gujarat. At the age of 15, Chandubhai and his brothers Bhikhubhai and Meghjibhai migrated to Dhundhoraji, a small village in Kalavad Taluka, Jamnagar district of Gujarat. Their father, Popatbhai Virani, was a farmer who sold ancestral agricultural land and gave the brothers to venture into business. The family chose the name because there was a Balaji temple just outside the cinema where they started their wafer business. Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park is located in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India. History It was established on 29 September 1987, and covers an area of . it is the largest zoological park in Asia. The main features of the Zoo Park are: * Mayuravani - The house for peafowl * Mrugavani - The house for herbivores * Vrukavihar - Living place for smaller carnivores along with parakeets, mainas, ducks, geese and a variety of other birds like flamingoes, swans, pelicans and raptors. The zoo had an exceptionally heavy leopard called 'Balaji', which weighed against the normal weight of of its class. Balaji was captured at the age of 12 in 1996, when he weighed .
