Arlington High School is a public high school in Riverside, California, United States. History Founded in 1973, Arlington is one of 5 comprehensive high schools in Riverside Unified School District. The first graduating class at Arlington was the Class of 1975. Arlington had since used Ramona High School’s football field for their graduations due to the influx of students they received over the years. The school’s journalism class that produced ''The Mane Thing'' since 1984 had ended with its last newspaper issue in early June 2019 following the retirement of the school’s journalist and English teacher. However, the journalism class lasted for another year but officially ended its course in June 2020. Due to the pandemic, the Class of 2020 graduated through a drive-thru graduation at Arlington. Arlington High School (Illinois)
Arlington High School was a public high school located in Arlington Heights, Illinois, which operated from 1922 to 1984. It was the oldest school in Township High School District 214 which served students in Arlington Heights, Buffalo Grove, Elk Grove Village, Mount Prospect, Prospect Heights, Rolling Meadows and Wheeling, Illinois. The school occupied a site that is approximately 1.3 km due east of Arlington Racetrack. In the mid-1980s, District 214 had budget concerns with declining enrollment. As a result, the district board members decided to close Arlington High School in 1984, and Forest View High School in 1986. Arlington High School was a comprehensive public high school located in Indianapolis, Indiana. It closed in 2018 but reopened in 2019 as Arlington Middle School. History Arlington High School was established in 1961 to address rapid suburbanization in Indianapolis. Arlington was among the last public high schools to open within the Indianapolis Public Schools system. In 2004, Arlington High School implemented a small school initiative: Traditional departments were done away with and five small schools, or schools within the school were created. Each school has its own academic dean, or principal, and the previous principal became the campus administrator. This district-pushed initiative was meant to improve student success. Arlington Senior High School was a public high school in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States. It was located in the city's North End neighborhood, north of Downtown Saint Paul. Arlington opened on September 3, 1996, and was the district's first new high schools since Humboldt Senior High School opened twenty years earlier. Arlington High School is a public high school located in Arlington, Tennessee, United States. It was started in 2004 and had an enrollment of 1,866 students in the 2023–24 school year.
