Rahul Shrivastava
Rahul Shrivastava is an Indian diplomat currently serving as the High Commissioner of India to Namibia. He previously served as the Ambassador of India to Romania, Albania, and Moldova from 2020 to 2024, and as Ambassador of India to Venezuela from 2015 to 2018. Early life and education Shrivastava was born on 30 January 1975 in the state of Chhattisgarh, India. He spent his early years in Odisha. He did his schooling from St. Mary's Convent School, Biramitrapur and St. Mary's School, Barbil. Shrivastava holds a Bachelor of Science, B.Sc in Chemistry from Ravenshaw University. He later completed his Master of Science in Information Technology, MCA from National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, NIT Rourkela (formerly known as ''REC Rourkela'') in 1999. He subsequently cleared the Civil Services Examination, UPSC CSE exam in 1998, securing an All India Rank of 24. India and Romania maintain international and cordial relations. Early history Romania and India were briefly connected by Alexander the Great's empire in 326 BC. Direct contact between India and Romania dates back a few centuries. Modern history Diplomatic relations between India and Romania were established on 14 December 1948 at the legacy level, and were upgraded to embassy level in 1957. Romania opened an embassy in New Delhi in 1955, and India opened an embassy in Bucharest in 1957. The Romanian Prime Minister visited India in March 1958. Today, Romania also has honorary consulates in Chennai and Kolkata, and India has an honorary consulate in Timișoara. Julio Ribeiro (police Officer)
Julio Francis Ribeiro (born 5 May 1929, in Bombay) is a retired Indian police officer and civil servant. He held increasingly responsible positions during his career, and led the Punjab Police during part of the Punjab insurgency periods. In 1987, he was awarded the Padma Bhushan, India's third highest civilian award for his services. Career Ribeiro joined the Indian Police Service in 1953 and rose to be the Commissioner of Mumbai Police from 1982 to 1986. He was promoted to Director General of Central Reserve Police Force, then to Director General Police of Gujarat. Manilal Tripathi
M. L. Tripathi, whose full name was Mani Lal Tripathi, was an Indian diplomat and ambassador. He was the High Commissioner of India to Mauritius and Bangladesh, as well as the ambassador to Romania and Japan. Career Tripathi joined the Indian Foreign Service in 1970. Dual accreditation is the practice in diplomacy of a country granting two separate responsibilities to a single diplomat. One prominent form of dual accreditation is for a diplomat to serve as the ambassador to two countries concurrently.
