Al Mokawloon Al Arab Sporting Club (), known locally as Al Mokawloon, is an Egyptian professional sports club based in Nasr City and owned by Arab Contractors (Al Mokawloon Al Arab). The club is best known for their football team, which currently plays in the Egyptian Second Division A. The club over the years have produced some of the most famous and talented players in Egypt, including Abdel Sattar Sabry, Mohamed Salah, and Mohamed Elneny. History Arab Contractors The club was founded in 1973 by the Egyptian engineer, contractor, entrepreneur, and politician Osman Ahmed Osman as the official sporting club for his prominent, regional construction company, the Arab Contractors, arguably the biggest one in the entire Middle East at that time. The Osman Ahmed Osman Stadium, also known as the Arab Contractors Stadium or Al-Mokawloon al-Arab Stadium, is a multi-use stadium used mostly for football matches in Nasr City, Cairo, Egypt, which has a seating capacity of 35,000. It is the home stadium of Al Mokawloon Al Arab, and acted as a temporarily home venue for various clubs in Egypt such as FC Masr and Misr Lel Makkasa. Joseph-Antoine Bell
Joseph-Antoine Bell (born 8 October 1954), sometimes referred to as JoJo Bell, is a Cameroonian former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. In a 20-year career, he played in his native Cameroon as well as in the Ivory Coast and Egypt before moving to France, where he played for several top-level clubs including Marseille, Bordeaux and eventually ending his playing career with Saint-Étienne. He played for the national team in three World Cups ( 1982, 1990, 1994), the 1984 Summer Olympics and several African Cup of Nations. Club career Bell was born in Mouandé. The 1997 CAF Super Cup was the fifth CAF Super Cup, an annual football match in Africa organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), between the winners of the previous season's two CAF club competitions, the African Cup of Champions Clubs and the African Cup Winners' Cup. The match took place on 14 February 1997, at Cairo International Stadium in Cairo, Egypt, between Egyptian clubs Zamalek, the 1996 African Cup of Champions Clubs winner, and Al Mokawloon Al Arab, the 1996 African Cup Winners' Cup winner. In the Second all-Egyptian CAF Super Cup, and the second time two clubs from the same country participate the same match in CAF Super Cup (after 1994).
