Al-Majd () is a Palestinian village located eighteen kilometers south-west of Hebron. The village is in the Hebron Governorate of Palestine, in the southern West Bank. Majd Shweikeh (; born 8 March 1966) is a Jordanian businesswoman and politician. From March 2015 to June 2018 she was Minister of information and communications technology. She previously was CEO at Orange Mobile and VTEL. Career Shweikeh studied Finance at Yarmouk University, and obtained a BsC with honors. Majd Kamalmaz (January 6, 1958 – after February 2017) was a Syrian-American psychotherapist from Arlington, Virginia, who was detained in Syria in February 2017 and held until his death was announced on May 18, 2024. Kamalmaz was running a nonprofit in Lebanon helping refugees deal with trauma when he drove to Syria in mid-February 2017 to visit a relative who had cancer. Majd Eddin Ghazal (; born 21 April 1987) is a Syrian high jumper. He utilizes the Fosbury Flop style, jumping off his left leg.
