Al-Hussein Sport Club () is a professional football club based in Irbid which competes in the Jordanian Pro League. The club achieved two Jordanian Pro League titles in  2023–24 and 2024–25, in addition to achieving three Jordan FA Shield titles, and two Jordan Super Cup titles. History Al-Hussein Irbid was established in 1964, followed by promotion to the Jordan League in 1975. Their first participation in regional competitions was in the 1993 Arab Club Champions Cup. They later competed at the 2005 AFC Cup, winning their group and reaching the quarter-finals. In 2010–11, they relegated to the Division 1 for the first time, following a 3–1 defeat against Kufrsoum in the playoffs. The club later clinched the 2012–13 Division 1 title, securing promotion to the 2013–14 Jordan League. Al-Hussein () is an Iraqi professional football club based in Baghdad. They were crowned champions of the 2015–16 Iraqi First Division League which promoted them to the Iraqi Premier League for the first time in their history. History Al-Hussein, named after the Imam of Shia Husayn ibn Ali, were founded in 1999. Their first participation in the Iraq FA Cup was in the 2002–03 edition when they were in the third division of Iraqi football; they faced Al-Tharthar in Round 1 on September 2, 2002, and the game ended 0–0 with Al-Hussein being knocked out of the competition via penalty shootout. By the 2004–05 season, Al-Hussein were in the Iraqi First Division League (the second division of Iraqi football) and in that season, they finished top of their group in the first stage with 20 points from ten games to qualify for the final stage.
