Al-Duhail Sports Club (), formerly Lekhwiya SC, is a Qatari sports club, best known for its football team, which plays in the Qatar Stars League. The club is based in the Duhail district in the city of Doha and plays its home games at Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium. It is the first team in Qatari football to win the first division title on its debut season. In April 2017, it was announced that the club would take over El Jaish SC and merge with it following the 2016–17 Qatar Stars League and be known as Al-Duhail Sports Club in a rebranding of Lekhwiya SC. Khalifa Bin Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani
Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani (; born 11 November 1991), known as K.H.K, is a member of the Qatari royal family. El Jaish SC
El-Jaish Sports Club () was a Qatari multi-sports club from 2011 to 2017, based in the Al-Duhail area of Doha. The association football team played in the Qatar Stars League. The team won the Qatargas League prior to 2011, but were not eligible for promotion and as a result were not declared as the champions of the league. It was promoted to the first division, the Stars League, the first year after it was made eligible. The club also had participations in other sports, most notably in handball where its team has previously achieved 3rd place in both the GCC Handball Championship and the Asian Club Handball Championship. Emir Of Qatar Cup
Emir of Qatar Cup (), also known as the Emir Cup, but changed to Amir Cup starting in 2019, is an association football tournament played every season by all first and second division teams in Qatar. The tournament is played in a knockout system, starting with the round of 16. If there is no winner after regulation time, a Penalty shoot-out (association football), penalty shootout decides the winner. History The Emir of Qatar Cup is the biggest football cup in the country. The cup was originally only contested by first division teams, but in 1999 the Qatar Football Association decided to allow all second division teams to participate. Al-Khor Sports Club () is a Qatari professional sports club based in the city of Al Khor. Al-Khor SC is best known for its football team, which competes in the Qatar Stars League from the 2024-25 season again after a short absence of 2 years in Qatari Second Division. It plays its home games at Al-Khor Stadium. History Foundation Al-Khor was unofficially established in 1951 by oil workers to fulfill them with the appropriate facility to invest their energy after their participation with the multinational oil companies at the time. Nam Tae-hee (; ; born 3 July 1991 in Busan) is a South Korean professional footballer who plays for K League 1 club Jeju SK FC and the South Korea national team. Al-Arabi Sports Club () is a Qatari sports club based in the capital city Doha. Founded in 1952, the most prominent team of the club is the Association football, football team that competes in the Qatar Stars League. The club's home ground is the 44,400-seat Al Thumama Stadium, where they have played since 2023. Al-Arabi had their first major success in 1978, winning the Emir of Qatar Cup, followed by various titles during the 1980s and 1990s.
