Rijeka Airport
Rijeka Airport (, ; ) is the international airport serving Rijeka, Croatia. It is located near the town of Omišalj on the island of Krk, 17 km from the Rijeka railway station. Most of the traffic to and from the airport occurs during the summer months, when it is used by several European low-cost airlines flying tourists to the northern parts of the Croatian coast. History Rijeka Airport opened in May 1970. The first plane to depart carried Josip Broz Tito and his wife. Before the Second World War, Rijeka was divided between Yugoslavia and Italy. The Yugoslav part of the city was served by the airfield in Sušak. Hvar
Hvar (; Chakavian: ''Hvor'' or ''For''; ; ; ) is a Croatian island in the Adriatic Sea, located off the Dalmatian coast, lying between the islands of Brač, Vis (island), Vis and Korčula. Approximately long, with a high east–west ridge of Mesozoic limestone and Dolomite (rock), dolomite, the island of Hvar is unusual in the area for having a large fertile coastal plain, and fresh water springs. Čepin
Čepin (; ; sr-Cyrl, Чепин) is a village and a municipality in Osijek-Baranja County, Croatia. It is located in northeast Slavonia, 10 kilometers southwest of Osijek. Čepin, with its 11,599 inhabitants at the 2011 census, is now included in Osijek built-up area. The majority of the population is Croats, Croat at 93.8%. Čakovec
Čakovec (; ; ; ) is a city in Northern Croatia, located around north of Zagreb, the Croatian capital, and close to the borders with Slovenia and Hungary. Zadar Airport
Zadar Airport (; ) is an international airport serving Zadar, Croatia. It is located in Zemunik Donji, from the centre of Zadar. With over 70 destinations on offer the airport handled around 1.6 million passengers in 2024. It is the fourth busiest airport in Croatia. History As early as 1936, Zadar (then part of the Italian Province of Zara) had regular commercial flights, initially provided by Ala Littoria.
