A-ha (often stylised as ''a''-h''a''; ) is a Norwegian synth-pop band formed in Oslo in 1982. Founded by Paul Waaktaar-Savoy (guitars and vocals), Magne Furuholmen (keyboards, guitars and vocals), and Morten Harket (lead vocals), the band rose to fame during the mid-1980s. A-ha achieved their biggest success with their debut album ''Hunting High and Low'' in 1985. American Humane Association
The American Humane Society (previously American Humane), is an American animal welfare organization founded in 1877 that works to rescue, care for, and protect animals by taking action wherever and whenever they are in need. ''Aha ha'' is a species of Australian wasp, named by the entomologist Arnold Menke in 1977 as a joke. Menke described several years after its discovery how, when he received a package from a colleague containing insect specimens, he exclaimed "Aha, a new genus", with fellow entomologist Eric Grissell responding "ha" doubtfully. ''Aha'' is a genus of wasp. , it consists of two species: '' A. ha'', and '' A. evansi'', and is endemic to Australia. The American entomologist Arnold S. Menke named and circumscribed the genus in 1977 for his newly- described species ''A. ha'' and ''A. evansi''. Taxonomic history In 1977, the American entomologist Arnold S. Menke wrote a paper circumscribing the new genus ''Aha'' which was accompanied by his descriptions of its two species: ''A. ha'' and ''A. evansi''. Howard Ensign Evans and Robert Matthews had provided him with specimens of this new genus; they had collected them during expeditions in Australia in 1969–1970 and 1972. Alpha hydroxy carboxylic acids, or α-hydroxy carboxylic acids (AHAs), are a group of carboxylic acids featuring a hydroxy group located ''one'' carbon atom away from the acid group. Achai Gaon (also known as Ahai of Shabḥa or Aha of Shabḥa, Hebrew: רב אחא �חאימשַׁבָּחָא) was a leading scholar during the period of the Geonim, an 8th-century Talmudist of high renown. He enjoys the distinction of being the first rabbinical author known to history after the completion of the Talmud. Ahai of Shabha is the author of the ''She'iltot''. As he never actually became the Gaon of either of the two academies, the description "Gaon" attached to his name is a misnomer. Rabbi Aha (, read as ''Rabbi Achah'') was a rabbi of the Land of Israel, of the fourth century (fourth generation of amoraim). Biography He resided at Lod, but later settled in Tiberias where Huna II, Judah ben Pazi, and himself eventually constituted a beit din. He was also a colleague of Rabbi Jonah and Jose bar Zevida. He was either a kohen or a Levite. It is said that when he died, the sky darkened to the point that stars were seen at midday. Teachings Most of his work on halakha and aggadah is cited in the Jerusalem Talmud and the midrash, and very little is cited in the Babylonian Talmud.
