Aalesunds FK Managers
Aalesunds Fotballklubb, commonly known as Aalesund or AaFK, is a Norwegian professional football club from the town of Ålesund, that competes in the Norwegian first division, the second tier of the Norwegian football league system. The club was founded on 25 June 1914. As of 2004, the football club had 835 members and several teams on both professional and amateur levels. These teams are the 1st and 2nd teams, junior team, and also several age-specific teams. History In 2009 the club won the Norwegian Cup for the first time in its history. They beat rival Molde FK in the Final, and thereby qualified for participation in the UEFA Europa League. Aalesund also won the 2011 Cup final, where they beat SK Brann. Color Line Stadion
Color Line Stadion is an association football stadium in Ålesund (town), Ålesund, Norway, and the home of 1. divisjon side Aalesunds FK. It was inaugurated in April 2005 and cost Norwegian krone, NOK 160 million to build. It is referred to as Aalesund Stadion by UEFA, as naming rights arrangements (in this case, with ferry operator Color Line (ferry operator), Color Line) is not included during UEFA competitions. It was the first top-level stadium in Norway to feature artificial turf, which was at the time a highly debated issue. When Aalesund opened the stadium, businessman Olav Nils Sunde donated a statue to the club, which was erected in front of the stadium. Whilst Sunde denied it, the statue bore a very strong resemblance to former Aalesund player John Arne Riise. 2005 Tippeligaen
The 2005 Tippeligaen was the 61st completed season of top division association football, football in Norway. The season began on 10 April 2005, and was concluded with the last of 26 rounds played on 29 October. 3 points were given for wins and 1 for draws. Vålerenga Fotball, Vålerenga, the winner of this year's season entered the second round of next year's UEFA Champions League, Champions League qualification, while the runners-up (IK Start, Start), number 3 (FK Lyn, Lyn) and the Norwegian Cup winners enter the UEFA Cup qualification round. The top four teams qualified for the 2004–05 Royal League. 1,726,145 people attended the matches, a new record for the Tippeligaen and 300,000 more than the previous year. Eliteserien () is a professional association football league in Norway and the highest level of the Norwegian football league system. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Norwegian First Division. Seasons run from March to November with each team playing 30 matches (playing each other home and away). Most games are played on Sunday evenings. Eliteserien was founded in 1937 as Norgesserien (), and the first season was the 1937–38 League of Norway, 1937–38 season. The structure and name of Eliteserien, along with Norway's other football leagues, has undergone frequent changes. The 2017 Eliteserien was the 73rd completed season of top-tier football in Norway. The season began on 1 April 2017 and ended on 26 November 2017, not including play-off matches. This was first season of Eliteserien as rebranding from Tippeligaen. Rosenborg were the defending champions, while Kristiansund and Sandefjord entered as the promoted teams from the 2016 1. divisjon. The 2017 season saw the name of the league change from Tippeligaen (named after sponsor Norsk Tipping) to Eliteserien, a non-sponsor affiliated name controlled by the Football Association of Norway. The 2016 Tippeligaen was the 72nd completed season of top-tier Association football, football in Norway. The competition began on 11 March 2016. Due to the UEFA Euro 2016, 2016 UEFA European Championship, there was a break between the rounds played on 29 May and 3 July. The decisive matches of the home-and-away season were played on 6 November 2016. The 2014 Tippeligaen was the 70th completed season of top division association football, football in Norway. The competition began on 28 March 2014, two weeks later than in the 2013 Tippeligaen, previous season. A three-week summer-break in June was scheduled due to the 2014 FIFA World Cup, and the decisive match was played on 9 November 2014. The 2013 Tippeligaen was the 69th completed season of top division football in Norway. The competition began 15 March 2013 and ended on 10 November 2013, when Strømsgodset defeated Haugesund 4–0 to win their second league title. The league was contested by 16 teams: The best 13 teams of the 2012 season, Start and Sarpsborg 08 who won promotion from the 2012 1. divisjon and Sandnes Ulf who retained their spot in the top league after beating the 1. divisjon side Ullensaker/Kisa in the relegation play-off. The competition began on 23 March 2012 and ended on 18 November 2012, with a summer break from 28 May to 30 June. Rosenborg were the defending champions, having secured their twenty-second League Championship on 24 October 2010. The 2010 Tippeligaen was the 66th completed season of top division football in Norway. The competition began on 14 March and ended on 7 November. Rosenborg was the defending champions, having secured their twenty-first league championship in 2009. The 2009 Tippeligaen was the 65th completed season of top division football in Norway. The competition began on 15 March and end on 1 November. Stabæk were the defending champions. Odd Grenland, Sandefjord and Start entered as the three promoted teams from the 2008 1. divisjon. They replaced HamKam who were relegated to the 2009 1. divisjon.
