AaB, (full name: ''Aalborg Boldspilklub'', ) internationally referred to as Aalborg BK, commonly known internationally as Aalborg BK and occasionally referred to as AaB Aalborg, is a professional football club based in Aalborg, Denmark. The club currently competes in the Danish 1st Division, the second tier of Danish football. AaB is one of the oldest and most historically significant clubs in Danish football, having been founded on 13 May 1885. Initially formed as a cricket club by English railway engineers, the club adopted football in 1902 and has competed under the name ''Aalborg Boldspilklub af 1885'' since 1906. AaB has traditionally been a mainstay in the Danish top flight, and has won the Danish Superliga four times, in 1994–95, 1998–99, 2007–08, and 2013–14. Aalborg Stadium ( Danish: Aalborg Stadion) is a football stadium located in Aalborg, Denmark. It is the home ground of AaB. It has a capacity of 14,135 of which 8,997 is seated. The 2007 UEFA Intertoto Cup was the 19th and penultimate edition of the competition and took 50 entries. Three rounds were held, and 11 teams qualified for the second qualifying round of the UEFA Cup. The draw took place at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland on 23 April 2007. The 2006–07 Danish Superliga season was the 17th season of the Danish Superliga league championship, which determined the winners of the Danish football championship. It was governed by the Danish Football Association. It took place from the first match on July 19, 2006 to the final match on May 27, 2007. Hans Roland "Hasse" Backe (; born 14 February 1952) is a Swedish football manager and former player who most recently led Finland's national team. Prior to this he managed the New York Red Bulls. He has coached clubs in Sweden, Norway, Greece, England and the United States, and achieved his greatest successes in Denmark at Copenhagen and Aalborg. Søren Frederiksen (born 27 January 1972) is a Danish former footballer who played as a forward. He scored 134 goals in the Danish Superliga championship, putting him second in the list of all-time topscorers. He played six games and scored one goal for the Denmark national team. Playing career Frederiksen started his career in Frederikshavn fI, before moving to Viborg FF in 1989. He started on the 2nd team, but was quickly promoted to the first team. He was an immediate success, when in his debut he scored a hattrick against KB, and later he went on to become the top scorer of the Highest Danish League in 1993–1994 with 18 goals in 32 matches. Erik Bo Andersen (born 14 November 1970) is a Danish former professional footballer who played six matches for the Denmark national team and represented Denmark at UEFA Euro 1996.
