AS Nancy Lorraine
Association Sportive Nancy Lorraine (), known as AS Nancy Lorraine, and more commonly as Nancy, is a French Association football, football club founded in 1967 and based in Nancy, France, Nancy, Grand Est. The club plays its home matches at the Stade Marcel Picot located in Tomblaine in the inner suburbs of Nancy, and currently competes in the Ligue 2 from 2025–26, the second tier of Football in France, French football, following crowned champions on May 2, 2025 and secure promotion from Championnat National in 2024–25 Championnat National, 2024–25 season. Thistles
Thistle is the common name of a group of flowering plants characterized by leaves with sharp spikes on the margins, mostly in the family Asteraceae. Prickles can also occur all over the planton the stem and on the flat parts of the leaves. These prickles protect the plant from herbivores. Anthony Guy Cascarino (born 1 September 1962) is a former professional footballer who played as a striker for various British and French clubs and internationally for the Republic of Ireland national team, with whom he competed in UEFA Euro 1988 and two World Cups in 1990 and 1994. Tony Mickaël Patrice Yves Vairelles (born 10 April 1973) is a French former professional footballer who played as a forward. Club career A centre-forward, Vairelles started his professional career with hometown club AS Nancy before moving to RC Lens in summer 1995. Youssouf Hadji
Youssouf Hadji (; born 25 February 1980) is a Moroccan former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. He notably had three spells for French side AS Nancy, also serving as the team captain, making 378 appearances and scoring 95 goals for the club. At international level, he represented the Morocco national team earning 64 caps and scoring 16 goals.
