AIK IF Players
Allmänna Idrottsklubben (English language, English: ''the Public Sports Club''), usually referred to as just AIK and internationally known as AIK Stockholm, is a professional sports club from Stockholm, Sweden. Founded in 1891, at the downtown address of Biblioteksgatan 8 in the district of Norrmalm, the club is the largest in Scandinavia. Basketligan
Svenska Basketligan, or the Swedish Basketball League (SBL), is the premier league for professional basketball in Sweden. The league was originally established in 1992 as Basketligan and was known as that prior to the season of 2006–07, but when the Sweden, Swedish company Obol Investment signed an agreement with the Swedish Basketball Federation in early October 2006, the league was renamed Obol Basketball League (OBL). In January 2007 the name was changed to Ligan, meaning simply the League. Solna Vikings
Solna Vikings was a Swedish professional basketball club with a men's team and a women's team. Both played in their respective top leagues: the women in the Damligan, and the men in the Swedish Basketball League. History The Solna Vikings was founded on 27 April 1999, when Solna IF announced that it would not continue playing. Isidor Behrens
Henrik Enok Isidor Behrens (1868–1951) was the founder of the Swedish sports club Allmänna Idrottsklubben (AIK) and its first chairholder. AIK was founded on February 15, 1891, at the home of Behrens and his family in Stockholm, at the downtown address of Biblioteksgatan 8. Early life Isidor Behrens was born on January 3, 1868, in Stockholm. Behrens was of German descent after his father, Carl August Heinrich Behrens, who was born in Burgberg, Germany and came to Sweden in 1862. His mother Anna Charlotta Behrens (born Wretberg) was from Häradshammar in Östergötland. Isidor Behrens had two brothers and two sisters. Ulf Schmidt
Ulf "Uffe" Christian Johan Schmidt (born 12 July 1934) is a former Swedish tennis player. He competed for AIK from Stockholm. He won 14 singles' tournaments, among them the International Swedish Championships in Båstad in 1957 and 1961. In 1958 he and Sven Davidson won the doubles event in Wimbledon after defeating the top seeds Ashley Cooper and Neale Fraser in the final. They were the only Swedish winners before the Borg era. His best singles result at a Grand Slam tournament was reaching the semifinal at the 1958 U.S. National Championships. Schmidt was unseeded and defeated third-seeded Ham Richardson in the fourth round before losing to first-seeded Mal Anderson in the semifinal. At the Wimbledon Championships he reached the quarterfinals in 1956 and 1957. Schmidt was ranked World No. 8 for 1958 by Lance Tingay of The Daily Telegraph (and No. 10 in 1961).
