AGS Airports
AGS Airports Limited is the owner of Aberdeen, Glasgow and Southampton airports. Based in Leeds, England, it was formed in September 2014 by Ferrovial and Macquarie Group. In January 2025 it was sold to AviAlliance. History Aberdeen, Glasgow and Southampton airports were originally owned and operated by the British Airports Authority, which acquired them in the 1970s. In the late 1980s the authority was sold off by the government and became BAA plc. By 2012 BAA had sold off three of its seven airports and rebranded as Heathrow Airport Holdings (HAH). In 2014 HAH decided to sell off Aberdeen, Glasgow and Southampton to enable the company to focus on improving Heathrow for passengers and winning support for Heathrow expansion. Congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) is a group of Genetic disorder#Autosomal recessive, autosomal recessive disorders characterized by impaired cortisol synthesis. It results from the deficiency of one of the five enzymes required for the Biosynthesis, synthesis of cortisol in the adrenal cortex. Most of these disorders involve excessive or deficient production of hormones such as glucocorticoids, mineralocorticoids, or sex steroids, and can alter development of primary sex characteristic, primary or secondary sex characteristics in some affected infants, children, or adults. Grass sickness, alternatively termed equine dysautonomia, is a rare but predominantly fatal illness in horses. Grass sickness may affect all types of horse, pony and donkey, and has affected some well known horses including the thoroughbred stallions Dubai Millennium, Moorestyle and Mister Baileys. Alpha Gamma Sigma (; commonly known as AgSig or AGS) is a national collegiate social and professional agricultural Fraternities and sororities, fraternity in the United States. History Alpha Gamma Sigma began as a local agricultural fraternity at University of Missouri, on January 28, 1923. A similar organization called the National Agriculture Club formed at Ohio State University on October 23, 1922; its name was changed to Tau Gamma Phi fraternity during its first year. The American Geriatrics Society (AGS) is a non-profit professional society founded on June 11, 1942, for health care professionals practicing geriatric medicine. Among the founding physicians were Dr. Ignatz Leo Nascher, who coined the term "geriatrics", Dr. Malford W.
