AEW World Trios Champions
The AEW World Trios Championship is a men's professional wrestling world tag team championship created and promoted by the American promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW). It is a specialized tag team championship, being contested by teams of three wrestlers, referred to as trios. The reigning champions are The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Katsuyori Shibata), who are in their first reign, both as a team and individually. They won the title by defeating previous champions Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, and Jon Moxley) at ''Dynamite'': Spring BreakThru on April 16, 2025. The title was established on July 27, 2022, and the inaugural champions were The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, and Nick Jackson). The Opps
Nuufolau Joel Seanoa (born March 17, 1979), better known by the ring name Samoa Joe, is an American professional wrestler and actor. He is signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he is a member of the Opps, and is one-third of the AEW World Trios Champions. He is also known for his work with Ring of Honor (ROH), Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), and WWE. Debuting in 1999, Joe joined ROH soon after its formation in 2002, going on to hold the ROH World Championship for a record 21 months from March 2003 to December 2004 as well as holding the ROH Pure Championship. All Out (2022)
The 2022 All Out was the fourth annual All Out professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by All Elite Wrestling (AEW). It took place during Labor Day weekend on September 4, 2022, at the Now Arena in the Chicago suburb of Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Fifteen matches were contested at the event, including four on the Zero Hour pre-show. In the main event, CM Punk defeated Jon Moxley to win the AEW World Championship for a second time. The 2022 Fight for the Fallen was a two-part professional wrestling television special produced by All Elite Wrestling (AEW). It was the fourth annual Fight for the Fallen charity event and was held on July 27, 2022, at the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts, encompassing the broadcasts of AEW's weekly television programs, '' Wednesday Night Dynamite'' and '' Friday Night Rampage''. Ring of Honor (ROH) is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Jacksonville, Florida. The promotion was founded by Rob Feinstein on February 23, 2002, and was operated by Cary Silkin from 2004 until 2011; the promotion was subsequently sold to the Sinclair Broadcast Group, and then sold to Tony Khan.
