9(1)(h) Order
A 9.1(1)(''h'') order (previously known as a 9(1)(''h'') order) is an order issued by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) pursuant to section 9.1(1)(''h'') of Canada's ''Broadcasting Act''. It requires that a particular Canadian television channel is must-carry and distributed by all (or a particular subset of) cable, satellite, IPTV, or similar subscription-based television service providers in Canada. In most (but not all) cases, the order requires that the channel be included in the analogue and/or digital basic service, making it available to all subscribers of that TV service provider. A channel subject to such an order, particularly those subject to mandatory carriage on the basic service, was sometimes known as an 9(1)(''h'') service. Sandie Rinaldo
Sandra Rinaldo, née Brycks (born 16 January 1950) is a Canadian television journalist and anchor for CTV News. She is the daughter of survivors of the Holocaust and is of the Jewish faith. Youth and education She was born in Toronto, and was first seen on television as a dancer during the mid-1960s on CBC Television youth series such as '' Where It's At''. The CTV Television Network, commonly known as CTV, is a Television in Canada, Canadian English-language terrestrial television network. Vrak
Vrak (stylized as VRΔK) was a Canadian French language specialty channel owned by BCE Inc. subsidiary Bell Media. The channel primarily broadcast live-action programming aimed at 13-to-35 age group audiences. Launched in 1988 as Le Canal Famille, it was originally conceived as French counterpart of the Family Channel under the ownership of Astral Media as well as rival broadcaster YTV, which was also then jointly owned by Rogers Media and CUC Broadcasting at the time. Meredith Shaw (born December 4, 1981) is a Canadian radio and television personality, model, body positivity activist, style expert, and singer-songwriter based in Toronto, Ontario. She was the co-host of CityTV's ''Breakfast Television'' from 2023 to 2025. Background Shaw was born and raised in Toronto.
