2023 FIA Formula 3 Championship
The 2023 FIA Formula 3 Championship was a motor racing championship for Formula Three, Formula 3 cars sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). The championship was the fourteenth season of Formula 3 racing and the fifth season run under the FIA Formula 3 Championship moniker. It was an open-wheel racing category serving as the third tier of formula racing in the FIA Global Pathway. The category was run in support of selected rounds of the 2023 Formula One World Championship. As the championship was a spec series, all teams and drivers competing in the championship ran the same car, the Dallara F3 2019. After all 18 races were completed in this season (the round in Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, Imola being cancelled due to the 2023 Emilia-Romagna floods). FIA Formula 3 Championship
The FIA Formula 3 Championship (FIA F3) is a third-tier international Open wheel car, single-seater racing championship organised by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). The championship launched in 2019 as a feeder series for the FIA Formula 1 World Championship and FIA Formula 2 Championships. It was the result of a merger between two third-tier Open wheel car, single-seater racing championships, the GP3 Series and the FIA Formula 3 European Championship. This championship is part of the FIA Global Pathway consolidation project plan. Zak O'Sullivan
Zak O'Sullivan (born 6 February 2005) is a British racing driver who is set to compete in Super Formula for Kondo Racing, Kondo. He is the champion of the 2021 GB3 Championship and the 2019 Ginetta Junior Championship, 2019 Ginetta Junior, 2020 F4 British Championship, 2020 British F4 and the 2023 FIA Formula 3 Championship, 2023 Formula 3 runner-up. He is a member of the Williams Driver Academy. O'Sullivan also serves as the simulator driver for Envision Racing in Formula E. V6 Engine
A V6 engine is a six- cylinder piston engine where the cylinders and cylinder blocks share a common crankshaft and are arranged in a V configuration. The first V6 engines were designed and produced independently by Marmon Motor Car Company, Deutz Gasmotoren Fabrik and Delahaye. One-design racing is a racing method which may be adopted in sports using complex equipment, whereby all vehicles have identical or very similar designs or models, avoiding the need for a Handicapping, handicap system. Motorsport One-make racing series (also known as spec racing series) are racing series in which all competitors race with identical or very similar vehicles from the same manufacturer and suppliers. Typically, this means the same type of chassis, powertrain, tyres, brakes, and fuel are used by all drivers. 2023 Monza Formula 3 Round
The 2023 Monza Formula 3 round was a motor racing event held between 1 and 3 September at the Monza Circuit. It was the final race of the 2023 FIA Formula 3 Championship and was held in support of the 2023 Italian Grand Prix. Heading into the final round with a 38-point-margin over his nearest rivals Paul Aron and Pepe Martí, Gabriel Bortoleto was crowned the 2023 Drivers' Champion after qualifying on Friday as Aron and Martí both failed to score pole position in order two secure two vital points for their respective championship hopes. Jonny Edgar (born 13 February 2004) is a British people, British racing driver racing in the 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship with TF Sport. He previously competed in the 2024 European Le Mans Series for AO Racing, AO by TF. The 2023 Spa-Francorchamps Formula 3 round was a motor racing event held between 28 and 30 July 2023 at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Stavelot, Belgium.
