2021 PDC Pro Tour
The 2021 PDC Pro Tour was a series of non-televised darts tournaments organised by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). Players Championships and European Tour events are the events that make up the Pro Tour. There were 32 PDC Pro Tour events held, 30 Players Championships and 2 European Tour events, and in a change to previous years, the Challenge and Development Tours were split with 12 UK and European editions each. Prize money The prize money for the Players Championship and European Tour events was unchanged from the 2020 levels. This is how the prize money is divided: PDC Tour Card 128 players are granted Tour Cards, which enables them to participate in all Players Championships events, the UK Open and qualifiers for all European Tour and select other televised events. PDC Pro Tour
The PDC Pro Tour is a series of non-televised darts tournaments organised by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). They comprise Professional Dart Players Association (PDPA) Players Championships and European Tour events. Only four players have gone on to win at least 30 titles on the PDC Pro Tour. Michael van Gerwen has won the most Pro Tour titles with 89. Phil Taylor is second on the list winning 70 events. 2020 PDC World Youth Championship
The 2020 PDC Unicorn World Youth Championship was the tenth edition of the PDC World Youth Championship, a tournament organised by the Professional Darts Corporation for darts players aged between 16 and 23. The group stage and knock-out phase from the last 32 to the semi-finals were played at Metrodome, Barnsley, on 28 September 2020. The final took place on 29 November 2020 at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry, before the final of the 2020 Players Championship Finals. England's Luke Humphries was the reigning champion after defeating Adam Gawlas of the Czech Republic 6–0 in the 2019 final, but he was unable to defend his title, as he was over the age limit. Bradley Brooks
Bradley Brooks (born 20 February 2000) is an English professional darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He reached the last 16 at the 2021 Grand Slam of Darts. In his youth career, Brooks won the 2020 PDC World Youth Championship and five titles on the PDC Development Tour. Career In 2017, Brooks won the Junior Darts Corporation (JDC) European Open title, defeating Jarred Cole 6–5 in the final. Brooks entered PDC UK Q-School in 2018, winning a two-year PDC Tour Card on the fourth and final day by defeating John Goldie 5–1 in the final round. His first significant run in the PDC came in late June 2018, when he made the quarter-finals of Players Championship 16 in Barnsley, only to be knocked out by eventual winner Ian White. The 2021 Cazoo Grand Slam of Darts was the fifteenth staging of the Grand Slam of Darts, organised by the Professional Darts Corporation. The event returned to the Aldersley Leisure Village, Wolverhampton between 13–21 November 2021, after being held behind closed doors at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry in 2020. José de Sousa was the defending champion, after defeating James Wade 16–12 in the 2020 final, but he was eliminated in the second round, losing 10–9 to Peter Wright. 2022 PDC World Darts Championship
The 2022 PDC World Darts Championship (officially referred to as the 2021/22 William Hill World Darts Championship) was the 29th World Championship organised by the Professional Darts Corporation since it separated from the now-defunct British Darts Organisation. It took place at the Alexandra Palace in London from 15 December 2021 to 3 January 2022. Gerwyn Price was the defending champion, after he defeated Gary Anderson 7–3 to claim his first World Championship in 2021. However, he lost 5–4 to Michael Smith in the quarter-finals. The 2021 Gibraltar Darts Trophy was the second PDC European Tour event on the 2021 PDC Pro Tour. The tournament took place at Europa Sports Park, Gibraltar from 24–26 September 2021.
