2020 Formula 2 Championship
The 2020 FIA Formula 2 Championship was a motor racing championship for Formula 2 cars, sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). The championship was the fifty-fourth season of Formula 2 racing and the fourth season run under the FIA Formula 2 Championship moniker. It is an open-wheel racing category, that serves as the second tier of formula racing in the FIA Global Pathway. The category was run in support of selected rounds of the 2020 FIA Formula One World Championship. As the championship was a spec series, all teams and drivers competing in the championship ran the same car, the Dallara F2 2018. Nyck de Vries was the 2019 drivers' champion, having won the title at the penultimate race of the 2019 championship in Russia, thus Mick Schumacher became the next driver to win the title at the final race in the Outer layout of the Bahrain International Circuit with 14 points ahead of runner-up Callum Ilott. FIA Formula 2 Championship
The FIA Formula 2 Championship (F2) is a second-tier single-seater championship organized by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). Held on road racing, racing circuits, the championship was introduced in 2017, following the rebranding of the long-term Formula One feeder series GP2 Series, GP2. The series' original founders were Flavio Briatore and current managing director Bruno Michel. While it is not necessary to do so, most current F1 drivers have participated in Formula 2 or GP2 before graduating to Formula One. It is the last step on the FIA Global Pathway from Karting to Formula One. is a Japanese racing driver currently competing in Super GT for ARTA and Super Formula for TGM Grand Prix. Early career Karting Born in Saitama, Matsushita began his racing career in karting in 2005, competing the All-Japan Junior Kart Championship. Luca Ghiotto (born 24 February 1995) is an Italian racing driver who competes in the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans and 2025 European Le Mans Series for Inter Europol Competition. Christian Lundgaard (; born 23 July 2001) is a Danes, Danish professional racing driver who currently drives the No. 7 Chevrolet for Arrow McLaren in the IndyCar Series.
