The 2019 Conference USA football season was the 24th season of College Football play for Conference USA (C-USA). It was played from August 29, 2019 until January 2020. NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision
The NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS), formerly known as Division I-A, is the highest level of college football in the United States. The FBS consists of the largest schools in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). As of the 2024 season, there are 10 conferences and 134 schools in FBS. Maurice Alexander (wide Receiver)
Maurice Alexander Jr. (born January 10, 1997) is an American professional football wide receiver for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL). He was selected with the eighth pick in the 17th round (No. 139 overall) of the 2022 USFL draft. He played college football for the FIU Panthers. After college, he went unsigned as an undrafted free agent in the 2020 NFL draft. Frank Wilson III (born November 5, 1973) is an American football coach. He is the associate head coach and running backs coach at Louisiana State University (LSU). Wilson served as the head football coach at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) from 2016 to 2019 and McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana from 2020 to 2021. Dana Dimel
Dana August Dimel (October 9, 1962 – December 3, 2024) was an American college football coach and player. He served as the head football coach of the University of Wyoming from 1997 to 1999, the University of Houston from 2000 to 2002, and the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) from 2018 to 2023, compiling a career head coaching record of 50–88. Bill Clark (American Football)
Bill Bradford Clark (born June 28, 1968) is a retired American football coach. He was the head football coach at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). He held the position from 2014 season until June 24, 2022, when he retired because of health issues related to his back. Career Clark was born in Anniston, Alabama and grew up in Piedmont, Alabama, where he graduated from Piedmont High School. A pivotal moment in his life occurred during a summer workout between his freshman and sophomore years. He suffered a back injury while attempting to squat an excessive amount of weight. Jay Hopson
James Walter Hopson (born October 13, 1968) is an American college football coach and former player. He was most recently the cornerbacks coach for the University of South Alabama from 2023 to 2024. He has been a head coach at Southern Miss and Alcorn State. In the latter role, he was the first white head football coach in the history of the Southwestern Athletic Conference, an organization composed of historically black colleges and universities. Michael Scott Bloomgren (born January 25, 1977) is an American professional football coach who is the offensive line coach for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL). Bobby Wilder
Robert S. Wilder (born August 1, 1964) is an American college football coach who serves as the head football coach for Tennessee Tech University. Before that, served as the head coach of the Old Dominion Monarchs football team. He was only the second coach all-time in the program's history and the first since football's rebirth at the school in the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) in 2009. James Seth Littrell (born July 24, 1978) is an American football coach and former player who was most recently the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at the University of Oklahoma before parting ways with the university on October 20, 2024. He was the head coach at the University of North Texas from 2016 to 2022. Littrell attended the University of Oklahoma, where he played four years as a fullback and was a team captain on the Oklahoma Sooners football team that won the 2000 national championship. Richard Wilson Stockstill (born December 23, 1957) is an American college football coach. He is an offensive analyst for Florida State University, his alma mater, a position he has held since 2024.
