Urs Fankhauser
Urs Fankhauser (3 August 1943 – 10 January 2018) was a Swiss rower. He competed at the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City and the 1972 Summer Olympics The 1972 Summer Olympics (), officially known as the Games of the XX Olympiad () and officially branded as Munich 1972 (; ), were an international multi-sport event held in Munich, West Germany, from 26 August to 11 September 1972. Neuchâtel (, ; ; ) is a town, a municipality, and the capital of the Swiss canton of Neuchâtel on Lake Neuchâtel. Gilbert Facchinetti (28 January 1936 – 6 July 2018) was an Italian-Swiss entrepreneur, best known as president of Neuchâtel Xamax. Biography Facchinetti was born in Lausanne, Switzerland to a family from Italy. After a butcher's apprenticeship, he played at Servette FC and later received an offer from Genoa, with a salary of 6,000 Swiss francs per month. When his uncle died, Facchinetti was pushed by his father to enter the family business, which was an architectural firm. He played one last match in the national league in 1969 with FC Cantonal Neuchâtel. Ten years later, in 1979, he took over the management of Neuchâtel Xamax, a club created by the merger between FC Cantonal Neuchâtel and FC Xamax. Ernst Sieber (; 24 February 1927 – 19 May 2018) was a Swiss pastor, social activist and politician who served one term as a member of the National Council (Switzerland) for the Evangelical People's Party of Switzerland, Evangelical People's Party. Luigi Taveri (19 September 1929 – 1 March 2018) was a Swiss people, Swiss professional Grand Prix motorcycle racing, Grand Prix motorcycle Road racing, road racer.
