Judith Isabel Guichon, , (born 1947) is a Canadian rancher and organizer who served as the 29th Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia, serving from 2012 to 2018. She was the viceregal representative of Queen Elizabeth II in the province of British Columbia, and was appointed by Governor General David Johnston on the advice of then-Prime Minister Stephen Harper. Personal life Guichon was born in Montreal, Quebec, in 1947, and raised on a farm near Hawkesbury, Ontario. She moved to British Columbia in 1972. Her first husband, Lawrence Guichon, was killed in a motorcycle accident near the family ranch in 2003. She and her current husband, Bruno Mailloux, maintain their private residence in the Nicola Valley. Harry Frank Lewis, (born 1939) is a Canadian broadcaster and politician who served as the 28th lieutenant governor of Prince Edward Island, as viceregal representative of Queen Elizabeth II of Canada in the Province of Prince Edward Island. He held the position from August 15, 2011, until October 20, 2017, and was succeeded by Antoinette Perry who was appointed on September 14, 2017. Violet Elizabeth Dowdeswell (née Patton; born November 9, 1944) is a Canadian public servant who currently serves as the lieutenant governor of Ontario, the 29th since Canadian Confederation. Early life Violet Elizabeth Patton was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, on November 9, 1944, and moved with her family to Canada in 1947, settling in rural Saskatchewan. John James "Jim" Grant (born January 17, 1936) is a Canadian politician and soldier who served as the 32nd Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia. Early life and education Born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, Grant attended Mount Allison University, graduating in 1956 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Economics.
