Ingrid Sandahl
Ingrid Sandahl (5 November 1924 – 15 November 2011) was a Swedish artistic gymnast. She competed at both the 1948 and 1952 Olympics and won a gold medal in the team portable apparatus event in 1952. She also won a gold all-around team medal and team portable apparatus medal at the 1950 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. Individually, she won three all-around medals at the Swedish Championships, including gold in 1949. Biography Sandahl was born in Stockholm in 1924 and began gymnastics around 1937, when she was 13. In 1947, she won silver at the Swedish Championships, and in 1948, bronze. At the two selection events for the 1948 Summer Olympics, she placed second at one and first at the other, and she won a place on the team. It was the first time that Sweden had sent a gymnastics team to the Olympics since 1920, due to differences that had developed between the Swedish style of gymnastics and the international one. Stefan Daniel Patryk Liv (born Patryk Śliż; 21 December 1980 – 7 September 2011) was a Polish-born Swedish professional ice hockey player who played as a goaltender. Liv played professionally in Sweden, North America and Russia. Liv played nine seasons for HV71 in the top-tier league in Sweden. He was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in the 2000 NHL entry draft and played one season elsewhere in the Red Wings organization, but never played in the National Hockey League (NHL). He then returned to Europe and HV71, where he played three seasons before moving to Russia in 2010. Liv was a member of Lokomotiv Yaroslavl of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) when he died, along with the rest of the team in the 2011 Lokomotiv Yaroslavl plane crash. Kurt Ivar Björn Johansson (25 February 1914 – 8 August 2011) was a Swedish shooter who competed at the 1948, 1960 and 1968 Olympics. In 1948 in London he placed fourth in the free rifle, three positions, 300 m event. In 1960 he finished 19th in the same event and 15th in the 50 m rifle prone competition. In 1968 he placed 17th, 20th and 26th in the mixed free rifle, three positions, 300 m, mixed small-bore rifle, three positions, 50 m, and mixed small-bore rifle, prone, 50 m, respectively. Johansson was born in Stockholm and competed out of Södermalm Liljeholmens Skf.
