ATP International Series
The ATP International Series (known from 1990 to 1999 as the ATP World Series) was a series of professional tennis tournaments held internationally as part of the ATP Tour from 2000 to 2008. Robert Lindstedt
Robert Lindstedt (born 19 March 1977) is a Swedish former professional tennis player who specialized in doubles. He turned professional in 1998, and reached a career-high doubles ranking of world No. 3 in May 2013. Lindstedt won his first Grand Slam title at the 2014 Australian Open with partner Łukasz Kubot. It was an ATP International Series event that was first founded as the WCT Scottsdale Open in 1986. That tournament by 2005 was officially known as the Scottsdale Open. In 2005, The Tennis Channel purchased the tournament from IMG (company), IMG and moved it from Scottsdale to Las Vegas. In April 2008, The Tennis Channel announced that it was selling the tournament to the ATP, and the week the event had been held was now the first week of Davis Cup. A hardcourt (or hard court) is a type of surface or floor on which a sport is played, most usually in reference to tennis courts.
