''PBA on Vintage Sports'' is a Television in the Philippines, Philippine television sports presentation show broadcast by Banahaw Broadcasting Corporation, City2, People's Television Network, MBS/PTV and Intercontinental Broadcasting Corporation, IBC. It aired from March 7, 1982 to December 12, 1999. The consist of branding used for presentation of Philippine Basketball Association games produced by Vintage Television, Vintage Sports. History In 1982, the PBA awarded the broadcast rights of its games to Vintage Television, Vintage Enterprises, Inc., a company owned by Carlos "Bobong" Velez and signed a P5.4 million deal with the league. The Philippine Basketball Association Most Valuable Player (MVP) is an annual Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) award given since the start of the league in 1975 to the best performing player of the season. The award is decided using criteria introduced since the 2011–12 season, which include accumulated statistical points, votes from media, players and the league's Commissioner's Office. The current holder of the award is June Mar Fajardo. The season MVP is for the ''whole'' season, which has two to three conferences, including the regular season, the playoffs and the Finals, while there is a Best Player of the Conference award for each conference, and a Best Import award for conferences where imports are allowed to play. June Mar Fajardo won the MVP award a record eight times, while both Ramon Fernandez and Alvin Patrimonio won the award four times. Donnie Ray Koonce
Donnie Ray Koonce (born June 13, 1959) is a retired American basketball player. He was drafted in the fourth round of the 1981 NBA draft by the Detroit Pistons. Koonce was a member of the Pistons' runner-up entry in the 1981 Southern California Summer Pro league, appearing in all 13 contest. He played 3 seasons in the Philippine Basketball Association from 1982 to 1983 and 1986. PBA stint Koonce played a total of 62 games for Toyota Super Corollas in all three conferences of the 1982 season, averaging 26.37 points per game. In the season-ending Open Conference, he won Best Import honors, edging his Toyota teammate and resident import Andrew Fields by one point in the balloting. With Toyota under the "handicap rule" the following season, Koonce signed with the San Miguel Beermen and raised his average to 36.78 points a game in 46 outings with the Beermen.
