20th Century
The 20th century began on 1 January 1901 (MCMI), and ended on 31 December 2000 (MM). The premier of North Korea, officially the premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, is the head of government of North Korea and leader of the North Korean Cabinet. The premier is officially appointed by the Supreme People's Assembly (SPA), which also appoints other members of the Cabinet on the nomination of the premier. The supreme leader of North Korea () is the ''de facto'' hereditary dictatorship, hereditary Supreme leader, leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea, North Korea, the state and the Korean People's Army. The title is honorary, given only after death in the first two cases. More broadly it can also refer to the "Supreme Leader system" (Suryeong-je), which is defined as "a system that aims to ensure continuous leadership by the Supreme Leader across generations." Korean Art Gallery
The Korean Art Gallery () is an art museum situated on the south side of Kim Il-sung Square in Chung-guyok, Pyongyang, North Korea, which opened in 1948. The building is 4 stories tall with 22 display rooms, an exhibition hall, a room for preservation of works and an artworks study room that exhibits a wide range of art, including oil painting, print, sculpture and industrial arts. History The Korean Art Gallery first opened on 11 August 1948, and was later reconstructed in 2010. As of 2020, over 6 million people have visited the museum.
