117 (number)
117 (one hundred [and] seventeen) is the natural number following 116 (number), 116 and preceding 118 (number), 118. In mathematics 117 is the smallest possible length of the longest edge of an integer Heronian tetrahedron (a tetrahedron whose edge lengths, face areas and volume are all integers). Its other edge lengths are 51, 52, 53, 80 and 84. 117 is a pentagonal number. In other fields 117 can be a substitute for the number 17 (number), 17, which is Heptadecaphobia, considered unlucky in Italy. When Renault exported the Renault 15 and 17, R17 to Italy, it was renamed R117. In the Danish language the number 117 () is often used as a Hyperbole, hyperbolic term to represent an arbitrary but large number. See also * 117 (other) References

Isuzu 117 Coupé
The Isuzu 117 Coupé is a compact Gran Turismo type 2-door fastback coupé which was produced by the Japanese automobile manufacturer Isuzu between 1968 and 1981. 117 was the codename for a common development program of Isuzu mid-size cars, involving a coupé, sedan, and station wagon. The latter two eventually became the Isuzu Florian, but the coupé kept the original name. The two ranges shared mechanicals, including the complete FR layout chassis with recirculating ball steering. The 117 Coupé was styled by the famous Giorgetto Giugiaro, being one of the first Japanese cars designed by an Italian stylist. It was among the first Japanese cars with a DOHC engine, and the first with electronic fuel injection. The 117 can be regarded as the world's first sports car to be available with a diesel engine. It was quite an exclusive vehicle during its lifetime, and is a rare collectible now, but thanks to its unusually long lifecycle, Isuzu manufactured 86,192 units. The 117 ...

Tennessine
Tennessine is a synthetic element; it has Chemical symbol, symbol Ts and atomic number 117. It has the second-highest atomic number and joint-highest atomic mass of all known elements and is the penultimate element of the Period 7 element, 7th period of the periodic table. It is named after the U.S. state of Tennessee, where key research institutions involved in its discovery are located (however, the IUPAC says that the element is named after the "region of Tennessee"). The discovery of tennessine was officially announced in Dubna, Russia, by a Russian–American collaboration in April 2010, which makes it the most recently discovered element. One of its Decay product, daughter isotopes was created directly in 2011, partially confirming the experiment's results. The experiment was successfully repeated by the same collaboration in 2012 and by a joint German–American team in May 2014. In December 2015, the IUPAC/IUPAP Joint Working Party, Joint Working Party of the Internatio ...

117 Lomia
117 Lomia is a large main-belt asteroid that has a nearly circular orbit; the orbital eccentricity is 0.029. It was discovered by French astronomer Alphonse Borrelly on September 12, 1871, from the Marseilles Observatory. The preliminary orbital elements were published in the following year by German astronomer Friedrich Tietjen. The reason for the name is uncertain, but Lutz D. Schmadel believes it is most likely a misspelling of Lamia, the female demon of Greek mythology (the asteroid 248 Lameia is also named after this figure). Photometric observations of this asteroid in 1985 gave a light curve with a period of hours and a brightness variation of in magnitude. The curve is symmetrical with a single maxima and minima. This object has a spectrum that matches an XC classification; occupying the transition range between an X-type and a C-type asteroid. It has an estimated cross-section diameter of ~148 km. Eight occultation An occultation is an event that oc ...

AD 117
__NOTOC__ Year 117 ( CXVII) was a common year starting on Thursday of the Julian calendar. At the time, it was known as the Year of the Consulship of Niger and Apronianus (or, less frequently, year 870 '' Ab urbe condita''). The denomination 117 for this year has been used since the early medieval period, when the Anno Domini calendar era became the prevalent method in Europe for naming years. Events By place Roman Empire * Trajan falls seriously ill, leaving Hadrian in command of the east. 117°
''117°'' is the second studio album by American rock musician Izzy Stradlin, and his first not released under a band name, following the breakup of his post-Guns N' Roses group Izzy Stradlin and the Ju Ju Hounds, the Ju Ju Hounds. The album contains a cover of Chuck Berry's "Memphis, Tennessee". The album features appearances from Stradlin's former Guns N' Roses bandmate Duff McKagan and former Ju Ju Hounds' bandmate Rick Richards. The tracks "Memphis, Tennessee" and "Good Enough" feature the Ju Ju Hounds lineup, as the songs were recorded by the band before breaking up. Critical reception AllMusic wrote that the album "rocks harder than most roots-rock albums of the late '90s." The ''Deseret News'' wrote that "lots of slide guitars, rip-roaring arrangements and drawling, wit-driven vocals give the 14 songs their charm." The ''Washington City Paper'' wrote that "there’s nothing groundbreaking on ''117°'', and Stradlin’s guitar work certainly falls short of being virtuosic, ...
