Julian Börner (born 21 January 1991) is a German professional footballer who plays as a defender for Hannover 96. After playing youth football for , Vimaria Weimar and Rot-Weiß Erfurt, he made his debut in professional football for Energie Cottbus in the 2. Bundesliga in August 2009, but did not make his next appearance for the club for over two years. He suffered relegation to the 3. Liga with Cottbus in 2014 and signed for fellow 3. Holger Börner
Holger Börner (7 February 1931, in Kassel – 2 August 2006, in Kassel) was a German politician of the SPD. He was the 4th Minister President of Hesse from 1976 until 1987. In this position, he served as the 38th President of the Bundesrat in 1986/87, but only served until the Landtag elections of 24 April 1987. Early life Börner was born in Kassel, oldest of three children of Hermann (1906-1941) and Martha Börner (née Bengsohn) (1909-1997). His family had a social democratic history, reportedly his grandfather had moved from Berlin to Kassel due to Chancellor Otto von Bismarck's Anti-Socialist Laws. His father was a construction worker and a foreman at the construction company Gerdum & Breuer in Kassel and from 1931 to 1933, the chairman of the Wolfsanger SPD local association, before being sentenced to prison in a rigged trial and imprisoned in Emslandlager until 1935. Jacqueline Börner (later Schubert, born 30 March 1965) is a former speed skater. Jacqueline Börner won her first international medal when she earned bronze at the 1987 European Allround Championships. Two years later, she won bronze again. A top skater in her own right, Börner often finished behind compatriots such as Gunda Kleemann and Andrea Mitscherlich. In 1990, Börner initially had a very good year when she won silver at the European Allround Championships behind Kleemann and then became World Allround Champion the following month, having had some luck that Kleemann was disqualified after her 1500 m race. Manfred B̦rner (16 March 1929 in Rochlitz Р15 January 1996) was a German physicist he holds nearly 60 patents and is best known for his contributions to the development of fibre optic technology. He developed the first working optical fibre data transmission system in 1965. Life and Career From 1964, B̦rner's research focus increasingly shifted to laser physics and optical communications engineering. In 1965 he made a groundbreaking invention in this field. He designed an optical long-distance transmission system based on the combination of laser diodes, glass fibres and photodiodes. In 1966 he applied for a patent for the system for the company AEG-Telefunken. It was the world's first patent for a fibre optic data transmission system. Fritz Cronman (c. 1640 - c. 1680) was a Major for the Swedish Empire in the late 17th century, and the Swedish diplomat to the Tsardom of Russia from 1668 to 1669. His extant diary and letters contain detailed information on the court of Ivan V of Russia. Biography He was born in Swedish Livonia to Hans Detterman Croman. He participated in the border commission with Russia in Keksholm, but the negotiations ended when the Russian commissioners walked out on the talks. On 26 September 1668 he was appointed as the Swedish diplomat to the Tsardom of Russia under Ivan V of Russia. On 8 October 1668 he sailed to Finland and then traveled overland to Narva. Christian Frederick Boerner (6 November 1683 – 19 November 1753), professor of theology at Leipzig. Boerner was born in Dresden, and lived most of his life in Leipzig. The Boerner-Fry Company/Davis Hotel is a historic building located in Iowa City, Iowa, United States. Emil Louis Boerner was born in Prussia and came to Iowa City with his family when he was 12. He was educated at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, and he owned and operated a drugstore in Iowa City for 57 years. with He was also one of the primary organizers of the Iowa Pharmaceutical Association, a member of the faculty at the newly established Iowa College of Pharmacy in Des Moines, and was involved in establishing the Department of Pharmacy at the University of Iowa where he served as its first dean. Boerner and his partner William A. Fry had this building constructed in 1899 as a factory that produced toilet articles and light pharmaceuticals. Local contractor Jacob J.
