Bozorgmehr-e Bokhtagan (Middle Persian: ''Wuzurgmihr ī Bōkhtagān''), also known as Burzmihr, Dadmihr and Dadburzmihr, was an Iranian peoples, Iranian sage and dignitary from the House of Karen, Karen family, who served as minister (''Wuzurg framadar, wuzurg framadār'') of the Sasanian Empire, Sasanian king (shah) Kavad I (), and the latter's son and successor Khosrow I (). He also served as the military commander (''spahbed'') of Khwarasan under Khosrow I and his successor Hormizd IV (). According to Persian language, Persian sources, Bozorgmehr was a man of "exceptional wisdom and sage counsels" and later became a characterisation of the expression. His name appears in several important works in Persian literature, most notably in the Shahnameh ("The Book of Kings"). The historian Arthur Christensen has suggested that Bozorgmehr was the same person as Borzuya, but historiographical studies of post-Sasanian Persian literature, as well as linguistic analysis shows otherwise. Shaikh Hasan (), also known as "Hasan Buzurg" ("Hasan The Great"), Hassan the Jalair or Hassan-e Uljatâï was the first of several de facto independent Jalayirid rulers of Iraq and central Iran. Early years He was born to Amir Husain Jalayir and Öljetei Khatun, daughter of Arghun Khan. His sister Soyurghatmish Khatun was married to Öljaitü Khan. He probably lived with his father during his governorate of Arran (c. 1312) and Khorasan (c. 1322). Hasan Buzurg was married to Baghdad Khatun in 1323, the daughter of Amir Chupan. Chupan was the most influential person at the court of Abu Sa'id Bahadur. However, the Ilkhan soon became enamored with Baghdad Khatun, and asked Hasan Buzurg to divorce her. Chupan sent the two of them to Qarabagh in an attempt to rid Baghdad Khatun from Abu Sa'id's mind, but the effort failed, and Baghdad Khatun was forced to marry the Ilkhan. Shahr-e-Bozorg (; meaning Great City) is one of the 28 districts of Badakhshan province in northeastern Afghanistan. According to latest estimates, approximately 67,000 people live in the district. The district of Shahr-e-Bozorg is located in the western part of the province, east of Takhar Province and south of the Afghanistan–Tajikistan border. To the northeast is Yawan District, to the east is Yaftali Sufla District and to the southeast is Argo District.
