Buster Brown (American Band)
Buster Brown was an American glam metal band from Louisville, Kentucky. Members included lead vocalist Johnny Edwards, guitarist Allan Phelps, and bassist Kevin Downs. The band went through several drummers. Drummer Bob Koestel played on the band's first album, ''Loud and Clear''. Drummer James Kottak played on the band's second album, ''Sign of Victory''. After the band's second album ''Sign Of Victory'', Johnny Edwards and James Kottak were recruited by guitarist Ronnie Montrose into his band Montrose. They played on the Montrose album ''Mean''. Johnny Edwards, James Kottak, Kevin Downs and Tony Bowles played together in the original line-up of the band Wild Horses. They were signed to Atlantic Records and were in the studio when shortly after the forming of Wild Horses, Johnny Edwards left to replace Lou Gramm in the band Foreigner, with which he sang on the album ''Unusual Heat''. Micael Kiriakos Delaoglou (born 31 October 1963), known professionally as Mikkey Dee, is a Swedish musician, who has played drums for German heavy metal band Scorpions (band), Scorpions since 2016. He was the drummer for English heavy metal band Motörhead (for which he is still best known to this day) from 1992 until 2015 and has played with other artists including King Diamond (band), King Diamond, Helloween and Don Dokken. ''Unusual Heat'' is the seventh studio album by British-American rock band Foreigner, released in June 1991, by Atlantic Records. Recorded at several different studios across the state of New York and England, and produced by Terry Thomas and Mick Jones, it was the only album with lead singer Johnny Edwards, who replaced original lead singer Lou Gramm, and their final album with original drummer Dennis Elliott and longtime bassist Rick Wills. Lou Gramm
Louis Andrew Grammatico (born May 2, 1950), known professionally as Lou Gramm, is an American singer and songwriter. He is best known as co-founder and original frontman of the rock band Foreigner from 1976 to 1990 and again from 1992 to 2003, during which time the band had numerous successful albums and singles. He is considered among the greatest and most successful rock vocalists of his generation. He co-wrote most of Foreigner's hits with bandmate Mick Jones. ''Mean'' is the fifth and final album by American hard rock band Montrose (band), Montrose, released in 1987. It has much more of a glam metal sound than previous Montrose albums. It was the lowest-charting release on Montrose's career, reaching No. 165 on the ''Billboard (magazine), Billboard'' Billboard 200, 200 in June 1987. Ronald Douglas Montrose (November 29, 1947 – March 3, 2012) was an American musician and guitarist who founded and led the rock bands Montrose and Gamma. He also performed and did session work with a variety of musicians, including Van Morrison, Herbie Hancock, Beaver & Krause, Boz Scaggs, Edgar Winter, Gary Wright, The Beau Brummels, Dan Hartman, Tony Williams, The Neville Brothers, Marc Bonilla and Sammy Hagar. James Kottak
James Kottak (December 26, 1962 – January 9, 2024) was an American drummer, best known for his work with the German hard rock band Scorpions, which he joined in 1996. At the time of his firing from the band in 2016, he was their longest-serving drummer. Kottak was also an original member of Kingdom Come, of whom he was their drummer from 1987 to 1989 and again from 2018 to his death in 2024.
