Bulgaria In The Eurovision Song Contest
Bulgaria has been represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 14 times since making its debut at the 2005 contest in Kyiv. The country's best result is a second-place finish with " Beautiful Mess" performed by Kristian Kostov at the contest also in Kyiv. The Bulgarian participating broadcaster in the contest is the Bulgarian National Television (BNT). The Bulgarian National Television ( Bulgarian: Българска национална телевизия, ''Balgarska natsionalna televizia'') or BNT (БНТ), stylized as ·Б·Н·Т· since 2018, is a public television broadcaster of Bulgaria. Nora Nova
Ahinora Kumanova (; 8 May 1928 – 9 February 2022), better known by the stage name of Nora Nova, was a Bulgarian and German singer. She was the first Bulgarian to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest. She represented in . itself first participated only in 2005. Her father was an official of Tsar Boris III of Bulgaria and she reported that she was raised a monarchist. After the regime change in the end of World War II, some of her relatives were sent to the Belene concentration camp or sentenced to death by the People's Court. In 1959, Ahinora left Communist Bulgaria by contracting a marriage in name only with a German national. After she came to West Germany in 1960, she won a singing contest called ("The Great Chance") organized by Electrola, a West German recording company. Miroslav Kostadinov
Miroslav Kostadinov (; born 10 March 1976) is a Bulgarian singer and songwriter who represented Bulgaria in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 with the song " Angel si ti". Biography Kostadinov was born in Dobrich, Bulgaria. He began playing the piano as a child. Years later, he joined an amateur singing group. After receiving awards from a number of festivals, he collaborated with some friends who were well-known musicians. Kostadinov has won two awards in Varna Discovery, and has also performed in Turkey and Kazakhstan. Later, he became part of the pop duo KariZma. In 2007, they were the entry for Bulgaria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2007, finishing in fifth place with the song "Water".
