Bukit Panjang LRT Station
Bukit Panjang MRT/LRT station is a Mass Rapid Transit (Singapore), Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) and Light Rail Transit (Singapore), Light Rail Transit (LRT) interchange station on the Downtown MRT line, Downtown line (DTL) and the Bukit Panjang LRT line (BPLRT) in Singapore. Located in the namesake estate of Bukit Panjang, the station is at the junction of Upper Bukit Timah Road and Petir Road. The station serves the commercial buildings of Bukit Panjang Plaza, Hillion Mall and Junction 10. It forms a part of the Bukit Panjang Bus Interchange, Bukit Panjang Integrated Transport Hub (BPITH), which also contains a bus interchange. The LRT station opened on 6 November 1999 along with the other stations on the BPLRT. It later became an interchange station and the terminus of the DTL after the opening of DTL Stage 2 on 27 December 2015. The Type DT1 is a two-car electric multiple unit (EMU) train type operated by the Hamburger Hochbahn AG on the Hamburg U-Bahn until 1991. They were the first new U-Bahn trains since the 1920s. Technical specifications The trains were formed as two-car sets. The car bodies are made out of welded steel. Each bogie is fitted with two axle-hung motors. John Clang
John Clang, born Ang Choon Leng (), is a Singaporean visual artist, photographer and independent filmmaker. His work has been exhibited in galleries and museums worldwide. National Museum of Singapore and Singapore Art Museum acquired his artwork as part of their permanent collection. Clang currently lives and works in Singapore and New York. In 2018, his first feature film, ''Their Remaining Journey'', had its world premiere at the International Film Festival Rotterdam, and was nominated for the Bright Future Award. Senja LRT Station
The Bukit Panjang LRT (BPLRT) is a automated guideway transit line in Bukit Panjang, Singapore. The BPLRT is currently the only LRT line operated by SMRT Trains. As the name suggests, it serves 13 stations in the neighbourhood of Bukit Panjang and parts of Choa Chu Kang in the north-west of the country. The line was the first LRT line constructed in Singapore, having opened on 6 November 1999 by then Deputy Prime Minister Tony Tan. It is a fully elevated and automated people mover system. The line currently uses the Innovia APM 100 C801 and C801A rolling stock supplied by Bombardier, running in a two-car formation. With a 20-year design lifespan, a major overhaul of the system began in 2019 that is scheduled to complete in 2026, which include a new signalling and power rails system, as well as rolling stock. The ABIT BP6 was an ATX motherboard released by ABIT in 1999. It was the first motherboard to allow the use of two unmodified Intel Celeron processors in dual Symmetric multiprocessing (SMP) configuration. Sungei Kadut MRT station is a future Mass Rapid Transit interchange station on the North South (NSL) and Downtown (DTL) lines, located in Sungei Kadut, Singapore. First announced as a provisional station on the NSL Woodlands Extension in the 1990s, plans for its construction was eventually confirmed in the Land Transport Master Plan (LTMP) 2040 by the Land Transport Authority (LTA).
