Bukit Beruntung is a town in Hulu Selangor District, Selangor, Malaysia. It spans over 2,900 hectares between Serendah and Batang Kali, bordered by the Rantau Panjang forest reserve. The planned city was originally developed by Europlus Corporation and is home to the Bukit Beruntung Golf & Country Club. History The land clearing for the construction of Bukit Beruntung Golf & Country Club and the houses surrounding the area happened around April 1992, with the earliest golf courses completed in late 1993. Infrastructure It is accessible via a Bukit Beruntung Interchange 118 of the PLUS Expressway , as well as the Federal Route 3208 Jalan Bukit Beruntung trunk road from Sg. Choh (after the JKR Hulu Selangor border sign and the Petronas station) and a shortcut road from Rasa. Jalan Bukit Beruntung, Federal Route 3208 (formerly Selangor state route B112), is an industrial federal road in Selangor, Malaysia. The Kilometre Zero is located at Sungai Choh, at its interchange with the Federal Route 1, the main trunk road of the central of Peninsular Malaysia. Rawang is a town and a mukim in Gombak District, Selangor, Malaysia, about 23 km northwest of city centre Kuala Lumpur. History Early history Rawang was founded in the early 19th century and was one of Kuala Lumpur earliest satellite towns. Kuala Kubu Bharu
Kuala Kubu Bharu (also spelt Kuala Kubu Baru, Kuala Kubu Bahru or Kuala Kubu Baharu; abbreviated to KKB), is the district capital of Hulu Selangor District, Selangor, Malaysia. It is located north of Kuala Lumpur and from Shah Alam, the state capital. It serves as a gateway town to Fraser's Hill. In 1883, the Sungai Selangor dam broke, causing a massive flood. Bukit Sentosa
Bukit Sentosa is a township in the district of Hulu Selangor. It is accessible from the North–South Expressway via Bukit Beruntung interchange exit 118 and Sungai Choh and Rasa via Federal Route 1. The township was developed by Talam Corporation. History An extension of Bukit Sentosa, Bukit Sentosa II, was developed through a joint venture of Talam Corporation and Noble Rights Sdn Bhd; the latter owns 60% stake in the joint-venture and was responsible for the project. Batang Kali Komuter Station
The Batang Kali Komuter station is a Malaysian commuter train station stationed at the northwest of and named after the town of Batang Kali, Hulu Selangor, Selangor. The station was opened on 21 April 2007, alongside the Rasa and Serendah stations. It was the second stop in the Rawang–Tanjung Malim shuttle service (formerly known as the Rawang– Kuala Kubu Bharu shuttle service) until the service merged with the Port Klang Line in 2016. The Serendah Komuter station is a Malaysian commuter train station stationed roughly two kilometres northwest from the town of Serendah, Selangor. The station is located on the KTM West Coast Line. The station is served by the KTM Komuter's since 2016.
