Bruce Edward Carter (born February 19, 1988) is a former American football linebacker. He was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He played college football at the North Carolina Tar Heels football, University of North Carolina. Early years Carter attended Havelock High School in Havelock, North Carolina. He played quarterback, Safety (American football position), safety and running back for the high school football, football team. As a senior, he rushed for 1,063 yards with 15 touchdowns as a running back and threw for 585 yards and five touchdowns as a quarterback. Bruce Carter (born 1958) is a prominent South Australian businessman and former member of the Executive Committee of Cabinet for the Government of South Australia. He is Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, a founding partner of the South Australian office of Ferrier Hodgson, and is considered to be one of the state's most influential people. Career Carter obtained a degree in economics and a Master of Business Administration. He is a former partner at Ernst & Young and has worked in corporate restructuring and insolvency for over 30 years. Carter has assisted many companies including Elders, Harris Scarfe and Balfours and has provided professional advice to the Government of South Australia. Bruce Northleigh Carter AM (born 1939 Sydney) is an Australian educator who was headmaster of Scotch Oakburn College and Cranbrook before becoming headmaster of the Emanuel School in 2001. He retired in late 2010 and was replaced by Anne Hastings. Education Carter was educated at the Knox Grammar School, where he excelled in sports and was awarded with school colours in Cricket and Rugby Union and had been a member of the 1st IV Tennis team. He began teaching as an 18-year-old in his first year of tertiary studies at Sydney University. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English and continued to play cricket in Sydney.
