Brothers In Arms (organization)
Brothers in Arms ( he, אחים לנשק), also known as Achim Laneshek and Brothers and Sisters in Arms, is an organization of reserve men and women from various units in the IDF, operating as part of the protests against the judicial reform being promoted by the thirty-seventh government of Israel headed by Benjamin Netanyahu. On October 7, 2023, the day Hamas attacked in southern Israel, the organization suspended all political and protest activities and devoted itself full-time to aid and relief, under the name Brothers and Sisters for Israel. In mid 2024, the organization reinstated its protest activity across the country while calling for new elections and drafting of ultra-orthodox who are currently exempt from military service in the IDF. Yariv Gideon Levin (, born 22 June 1969) is an Israeli lawyer and politician who serves as Speaker of the Knesset since December 2022, previously serving that role from 2020 to 2021. ''Davar'' ( he, דבר, lit. ''Word'') was a Hebrew-language daily newspaper published in the British Mandate of Palestine and Israel between 1925 and May 1996. It was relaunched in 2016, under the name ''Davar Rishon'' as an online outlet by the Histadrut. ''Maariv'' () is a Hebrew language, Hebrew-language daily newspaper published in Israel. From Sunday to Thursday, it is printed under the ''Ma'ariv Hashavu'a'' () brand, while the weekend edition that is out on Friday is called ''Ma'ariv SofHashavu'a'' (). A daily, abridged version of the newspaper, called ''Ma'ariv Haboker'' (), is distributed for free every morning during the week. Latrun
Latrun ( he, לטרון, ''Latrun''; ar, اللطرون, ''al-Latrun'') is a strategic hilltop in the Latrun salient in the Ayalon Valley, and a depopulated Palestinian village. It overlooks the road between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, 25 kilometers west of Jerusalem and 14 kilometers southeast of Ramla. It was the site of fierce fighting during the 1948 war. During the 1948–1967 period, it was occupied by Jordan at the edge of a no man's land between the armistice lines. In the 1967 war, it was occupied by Israel. Channel 13 ( he, ערוץ 13), formally known as Reshet 13 ( he, רשת 13), is an Israeli free-to-air television channel owned by RGE Media Group and Reshet. It was launched on 1 November 2017 as one of two replacements of the outgoing Channel 2. Channel 13 also known as Nana 13 and Reshet 13 and broadcasting in Hebrew. Ynet (stylized as ynet) is one of the major Israeli news and general-content websites, and is the online outlet for the ''Yedioth Ahronot'' newspaper. However, most of Ynet's content is original work, published exclusively on the website and written by an independent staff. History Ynet was launched in June 2000 in Hebrew only; and in 2004 launched its online English edition Ynetnews. Kohelet Policy Forum
The Kohelet Policy Forum (KPF) ( he, פורום קהלת) is an Israeli nonprofit think tank. Founded in January 2012 by Professor Moshe Koppel, who now serves as the Forum’s chairman, together with several Israeli academics such as Avraham Diskin, Avi Bell, Emmanuel Navon and Yitzhak Klein, public figures, intellectuals and activists.
