Broad Run is a tributary of Little Muncy Creek in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is approximately long and flows through Moreland Township. The watershed of the stream has an area of . At least one bridge has been constructed over the stream, carrying State Route 2067. Broad Run is classified as a Coldwater Fishery. Course Broad Run begins on Ball Ridge in Moreland Township. It flows south-southeast for a few tenths of a mile before turning south-southwest for several tenths of a mile, crossing Pennsylvania Route 118, and receiving an unnamed tributary from the right. Broad Run (Loudoun County, Virginia)
Broad Run is a tributary of the Potomac River in Loudoun County, Virginia. The creek, located between Goose Creek and Sugarland Run, principally drains portions of eastern Loudoun County, as well as a small portion of western Fairfax County. The headwaters of the creek are located about northeast of Aldie. The creek flows eastward near Arcola and continues generally northeast to its mouth at the Potomac near the southern end of Seldon's Island to the north of Sterling and about southeast of Leesburg. The watershed of the creek is 67.5 mi2 (175 km2) in Loudoun and 23.8 mi2 (62 km2) in Fairfax. The majority of the run forms the border between the unincorporated areas of Ashburn and Sterling. Broad Run is a tributary of the Occoquan River in the U.S. state of Virginia. It rises in Fauquier County and passes through Thoroughfare Gap. Broad Run is a small unincorporated village in Fauquier County, Virginia. It is on Bust Head Road just north of Interstate 66 and State Route 55, near the Prince William County line. ''Broad Run'' is named after the waterway that flows through the town. Broad Run has its own ZIP Code of 20137, and its post office serves a population of 1,510. The town of Broad Run was a thriving community in the late 19th century and early 20th century. The decline of the railroads spelled the demise of the town, and all that is left of the town proper is less than five homes from that period, and a few stone foundations and chimneys for buildings that no longer exist. A ramp for loading freight trains still exists on the still active Norfolk Southern freight line, but is covered with weeds and in such disrepair as to be no longer useful.
