Bring Me The Horizon
Bring Me the Horizon are a British Rock music, rock band, formed in Sheffield, England in 2004. The group currently consists of lead vocalist Oli Sykes, drummer Matt Nicholls, guitarist Lee Malia and bassist Matt Kean (musician), Matt Kean. They are signed to RCA Records globally and Columbia Records exclusively in the United States. The band released their debut album ''Count Your Blessings (Bring Me the Horizon album), Count Your Blessings'' in 2006. The album featured a deathcore sound that the band would move away from starting with their second album ''Suicide Season'' (2008). The album was considered a creative, critical and commercial turning point for the band. Bring Me the Horizon released their third album, ''There Is a Hell Believe Me I've Seen It. Rock Im Park
The (German language, German for "Rock at the Ring") and ("Rock in the Park") festivals are two simultaneous rock music festivals held annually in Germany. While ''Rock am Ring'' takes place at the Nürburgring race track, ''Rock im Park'' takes place at the Zeppelinfeld in Nuremberg. Rock am Ring festival was founded by in 1985. The two festivals are usually regarded as one event sharing nearly identical lineups. All artists perform one day at the Nürburgring and another day in Nuremberg during the three-day event. Shock Records was an Australian independent record label, branded with the logo Shock or Shock Australia. Founded in 1988, it traded as Shock Records Pty. Ltd, and its publishing arm as Shock Music Publishing Pty. Ltd. Its most prominent sublabel was Permanent Records. After going into receivership in August 2010, company assets were bought by Regency Media Group, and the company was rebranded Shock Entertainment. Regency Media folded in February 2023. ''Suicide Season'' is the second studio album by British rock band Bring Me the Horizon. It was released on 29 September 2008 in the United Kingdom and Europe through Visible Noise. The band signed a licensing deal with Epitaph Records on 11 September 2008, with the label releasing the album on 18 November 2008 in the United States. The album shows a major change musically from their previous releases, starting to shift from their original deathcore sound and mixing in metalcore influences. This would also be the last album to feature Curtis Ward on rhythm guitar. ''Count Your Blessings'' is the debut studio album by British rock band Bring Me the Horizon. Recorded at DEP International Studios in Birmingham with producer Dan Sprigg, it was originally released in the United Kingdom on 30 October 2006 by Visible Noise. The album was later issued by Earache Records in the United States on 14 August 2007. ''Count Your Blessings'' was supported by the release of the album's two singles: " Pray for Plagues" on 4 June 2007 and "For Stevie Wonder's Eyes Only (Braille)" on 6 March 2008. Jordan Keith Attwood Fish (born 26 June 1986) is a British musician and record producer. He was the keyboardist and producer of the Rock music, rock band Bring Me the Horizon from 2012 until his departure in 2023. Jona Weinhofen
Jona Weinhofen (born 1 January 1983) is an Australian musician. He is the lead guitarist for metalcore band I Killed the Prom Queen, and was the rhythm guitarist for British band Bring Me the Horizon, from 2009 to 2013 and the guitarist for Californian band Bleeding Through from 2007 to 2009. In September 2021, he joined Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows alongside Craig Owens. Musical career Jona Weinhofen formed metalcore band I Killed the Prom Queen in Adelaide in 2000 with drummer JJ Peters. Matt Kean (musician)
Matthew Kean (born 2 June 1986) is a British musician, best known as the bassist of the rock band Bring Me the Horizon. He has been credited on all seven of the band's studio releases. Early life Kean was born on 2 June 1986 and was raised in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Growing up, he wanted to be a footballer, but figured "that was never going to happen." He went to college studying biology, physics and chemistry A Levels. On his days off from college wondering what to do apart from playing on his computer, he decided to buy a bass guitar. He used to print tabs off the internet and play along to stuff like Blink-182 and Green Day. Before joining Bring Me the Horizon, he would watch bandmate Lee Malia perform in his Metallica tribute band.
