Hinder is an American Rock music, rock band from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, formed in 2001 by former lead singer Austin John Winkler, guitarist Joe "Blower" Garvey, drummer Cody Hanson, with bass player Cole Parker being recruited in 2002 during the recording of their debut EP ''Far from Close''. Upon Parker's exit from the group in 2003, Hinder recruited bassist Mike Rodden and former guitarist Mark King to join the band in 2004. Marshal Dutton (born March 15, 1978) is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer best known for currently being the lead singer of the rock band Hinder. He has also seen success as the part-time lead vocalist and full-time lead guitarist in his former band Faktion. He also provides lead guitar and backing vocals in the country duo group Drankmore. Cody Hanson (born May 24, 1982) is an American musician and record producer. He is the drummer and one of the founding members in the Oklahoma based rock band Hinder and co-owns the production company Back Lounge Productions with bandmate Marshal Dutton. Hanson has also provided drum work in the country group Drankmore. Early life Hanson was born in Plano, Texas but relocated to Jones, Oklahoma with his family when he was one year old.
