Briganté
Briganté is a rock/ indie/alternative band from Bedford, United Kingdom. They are known for singing in a deep melodic style. Beginnings Simon Cronin (lead singer), Chris Mills (electric guitar), Padraig Clarke (3/4 guitar) and Luke Fattorusso (bass guitar/backing vocals) were initially part of a cover band. After little success performing in several local gigs raising money for charity, the cover band eventually ran its course. At this point it was decided that a new band should be formed with some of the members from the original. This led to the creation of Rate of the Day (ROTD) in May 2006. While predominantly an indie band, ROTD branched into areas of rock and roll and alternative rock, with songs such as "Waging War" and "Takin' Part". Stephen Pagano, the original drummer, left the band soon after. With an ad on a local advertising website, Dan Meese joined the crew as the new drummer. Bedford is a market town in Bedfordshire, England. At the 2011 Census, the population was 106,940. Bedford St Johns Railway Station
Bedford St Johns is one of two railway stations in Bedford in Bedfordshire, England, on the Marston Vale Line linking and . It is unstaffed and is operated by London Northwestern Railway. St Johns was Bedford's first station, on the Varsity Line (the original Oxford to Cambridge line). Its role was diminished following the substantial closure of that line in 1967, leaving only the section to Bletchley in operation. British Rail closed the original station on 14 May 1984 and diverted services to/from Bletchley along a new chord line to Bedford railway station, Bedford Midland station, where a new bay platform was opened for this service. Kempston Hardwick Railway Station
Kempston Hardwick railway station serves the village of Kempston Hardwick in Bedfordshire, England. It should not be confused with the nearby town of Kempston. The station has two platforms next to a half-barrier level crossing. Kempston Hardwick is the least used station in Bedfordshire. However, in 2023 Universal Studios announced that it had bought a huge patch of land next to the station where it plans to build its first UK theme park. On 9 April 2025, the Government announced that it had approved the plan and, subject to detailed planning approvals, construction is expected to start in 2026.
