Brian Leslie Cole (September 8, 1942 – August 2, 1972) was an American musician. He was the bass guitarist, bass vocalist and one of the founding members of the 1960s folk rock band the Association. Early life Brian Leslie Cole was born in Tacoma, Washington, to Perry Anthony Cole and Violet Elanor Cole. By the early 1960s, he and his family were living in Portland, Oregon, and he was a father of two. Cole attended Portland State University, before dropping out a year later. Prior to working as a musician, he had moved to Los Angeles, and was working as a lumberjack, before he began work as an actor and comedian. The Association In 1966, Cole co-founded the folk rock band The Association, a band that had previously been a thirteen-piece ensemble called The Men. The Association signed to Valiant Records in 1966, and released their debut album ''And Then... Along Comes the Association'', shortly after. Bryan "Jack" Cole (born 17 August 1956) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Collingwood in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Playing career Originally from Montmorency, part of Collingwood's recruiting zone, Cole played two senior games for the Magpies – one in each of the 1977 and 1978 seasons – before returning to his home club midway through the latter. Cole's nickname of "Jack" was a shortening of " Jumping Jack", which was bestowed upon him unknowingly by Montmorency coach Shane Molloy during the club's premiership season of 1979. Coaching career Cole was appointed senior coach of Montmorency in 2005 in his first coaching role, at age 48. He remained at the club for six seasons before transferring to coach rival Greensborough for two years in 2011–12. Cole then returned for another two-year stint at Montmorency in 2013. Brian Lee Cole
Brian Lee Cole (born December 7, 1967) is an American prelate of the Episcopal Church who is the current Bishop of East Tennessee. Education Cole was born in Hayti, Missouri, and was educated at Murray State University, from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration in 1989. He spent time employed with the Appalachian Ministries Educational Resource Center in Berea, Kentucky. In 1992, he earned a Master of Divinity degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. In 2001, he completed studies at Sewanee: The University of the South, where he focused on Anglican church history. He also undertook further studies in art and prayer at the General Theological Seminary in 2006 and in liturgics in Asheville, North Carolina, between 2002 and 2005. Brian Cole (baseball)
Brian Keith Cole (September 28, 1978 – March 31, 2001) was an American professional baseball outfielder. Cole played in Minor League Baseball for the New York Mets organization from 1998 to 2000, becoming one of the top prospects in baseball. He died in a car accident at the age of 22 in 2001. Career Cole was born in Meridian, Mississippi and attended Meridian High School. He played both baseball and American football, scoring a school record 22 touchdowns in his senior year. He received numerous offers to play college football from Division I schools, but decided to pursue a career in baseball. The Detroit Tigers selected Cole in the 36th round of the 1997 Major League Baseball Draft, but he declined the Tigers $5,000 offer and instead attended Navarro College. In his lone season at Navarro he hit .524 with 27 home runs, 82 runs batted in (RBI), 95 runs scored and 49 stolen bases in 60 games. Brian Keith Cole II (born April 3, 1997) is an American professional football linebacker for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football at Mississippi State. College career Cole grew up in Saginaw, Michigan and played three games at Michigan as a wide receiver and on special teams. He was released from the team in January 2016. Cole transferred to East Mississippi Community College and switched to defense, compiling 54 tackles, with 3 forced fumbles, 3 blocked kicks, a sack, and a fumble returned for a touchdown.
