Brett De Geus
Brett de Geus ( ; born November 4, 1997) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the Texas Rangers, Arizona Diamondbacks, Seattle Mariners, and Toronto Blue Jays. Amateur career de Geus attended Foothill High School in Pleasanton, California. He was not selected in the 2015 Major League Baseball draft and thus enrolled at Cabrillo College in Aptos, California, where he played baseball. As a freshman at Cabrillo in 2016, de Geus earned all-conference honors. As a sophomore in 2017, he went 9–3 with a 1.94 ERA over 16 games, including 14 starts. Omaha Storm Chasers
The Omaha Storm Chasers are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League and the Triple-A (baseball), Triple-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. They are located in Papillion, Nebraska, a suburb southwest of Omaha, Nebraska, Omaha, and play their home games at Werner Park, which opened in 2011. The team previously played at Johnny Rosenblatt Stadium from 1969 to 2010. Cabrillo College is a public community college in Aptos, California. It is named after the conquistador Juan Rodríguez Cabrillo and opened in 1959. Cabrillo College has an enrollment of about 9,700 students per term.
