Brandon Butler (born September 11, 1996) is an American actor. He is known for portraying Scott Reed in the Netflix series ''13 Reasons Why'' and Brady Finch in the Netflix series ''Trinkets (TV series), Trinkets''. Life and career Butler was born and raised in Frankfort, Illinois. At the age of 13, Butler began his acting career in 2009, when he appeared in the 2011 musical comedy film ''Sister Mary (film), Sister Mary'', portraying Choir boy. Frankfort is a village in Will County and Cook County in the U.S. state of Illinois. It is a southern suburb of Chicago, and is approximately 28 miles (45 km) south of the city. As of the 2020 census, the population was 20,296. Frankfort's historic downtown area contains the Frankfort Grainery, Breidert Green, and a portion of the Old Plank Road Trail, a 22-mile-long paved recreation trail.
