"Boy's a Liar" is a song by British singer PinkPantheress. Released on 30 November 2022 through Warner Records as a single, it was later included on her extended play, '' Take Me Home'', in February 2023. Written and produced by her and Mura Masa, the song is a dance-pop, bubblegum pop, and synth-pop song with a Jersey club beat, elements of chiptune, lo-fi and hyperpop, and lyrics about feeling inadequate in a relationship. It gained traction on TikTok soon after its release and later peaked at number two in the UK, Ireland, and Australia. A remix of the song, retitled "Boy's a Liar Pt. 2", featuring American rapper Ice Spice, was released through Parlophone Records, Elektra Records, and 3EE on 3 February 2023 as the lead single from PinkPantheress' debut album '' Heaven Knows''. Victoria Beverley Walker (born 19 April 2001), known professionally as PinkPantheress, is a British singer, songwriter, and record producer. Her music is noted for its various samples and diaristic lyrics. Born in Bath, Somerset, and raised in Kent, PinkPantheress began her musical career in 2021 while attending university in London, where she produced songs using GarageBand and posted them on SoundCloud and TikTok. Louis Kevin Celestin (born August 25, 1992), known professionally as Kaytranada (stylized as KAYTRANADA, shortened as KAYTRA), is a Haitian-Canadian music producer, rapper, singer and DJ.
