Boxing At The 2014 Commonwealth Games
Boxing competitions at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland were held from 25 July to 2 August at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre and were concluded on 2 August at The SSE Hydro. Scottish Exhibition And Conference Centre
The SEC Centre (originally known as the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre until 2017) is Scotland's largest Exhibition center, exhibition centre, located in Glasgow, Scotland. It is one of the three main venues within the Scottish Event Campus. Since the opening of the original buildings in 1985, the complex has undergone two major expansions; the first being the SEC Armadillo in 1997, and then the OVO Hydro in 2013. Michael Conlan (boxer)
Michael John Conlan (born 19 November 1991) is an Irish professional boxer from Belfast. A world, European and Commonwealth champion and Olympic bronze medallist. Mandeep Jangra
Mandeep Jangra (born 19 May 1993) is former Indian amateur boxer and current professional. He won the silver medal at the 2013 Asian Amateur Boxing Championships in the welterweight category. He represented India at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in the same category and won the silver medal. He was awarded the prestigious Arjuna Award in 2015. Samuel Maxwell (born 17 October 1988) is an English professional boxer. He held the Commonwealth light-welterweight title from 2021 to 2023 and the British light-welterweight title from 2021 to 2022. Charles "Mailman" Flynn (born 6 November 1993, Lanark) is a professional boxer and Commonwealth gold medalist from Scotland. Amateur career Flynn competed in the men's lightweight division at the 2014 Commonwealth Games where he won the gold medal.
