The Boston Red Sox are an American professional baseball team based in Boston. The Red Sox compete in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member club of the American League (AL) American League East, East Division. Brian Anderson (outfielder)
Brian Nikola Anderson (born March 11, 1982) is an American former professional baseball player. He played all or part of five seasons in Major League Baseball with the Chicago White Sox and Boston Red Sox as an outfielder, a position he played professionally until before the 2010 season. Brady Kevin Anderson (born January 18, 1964) is an American former baseball outfielder and executive who played 15 seasons in Major League Baseball (1988–2002) for the Boston Red Sox, Baltimore Orioles and Cleveland Indians. He spent the majority of his career as a center fielder and leadoff hitter for the Orioles in the 1990s, where he was a three-time All Star, and, in 1996, became the 15th player in major league history to hit 50 home runs in one season. Abraham Alvarez (born October 17, 1982) is an American baseball coach and former professional baseball pitcher, who is the pitching coach for the BYU Cougars. Alvarez played college baseball at Long Beach State University from 2001 to 2003 for head coaches Dave Snow and Mike Weathers and professionally in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Boston Red Sox. Nicholas Altrock (September 15, 1876 – January 20, 1965) was an American professional baseball player and Coach (baseball), coach. He played in the major leagues as a left-handed pitcher between 1898 and 1919. After the 1919 season he continued to make periodic appearances as a pinch hitter for many years, until his final game at the age of 57. As a player, Altrock was a member of two World Series winning teams and then won a third World Series as a coach. Baldomero "Mel" Almada Quirós (February 7, 1913 – August 13, 1988) was a Mexican center fielder in Major League Baseball who played from 1933 through 1939 for the Boston Red Sox (1933–1937), Washington Senators (1937–1938), St. Louis Browns (1938–1939) and Brooklyn Dodgers (1939). Gary Martin Allenson (born February 4, 1955) is an American former Major League Baseball catcher and coach and minor league manager.
