Antonio Bonetti (1710–1787) was an Italian people, Italian painter, active mainly in Bologna in quadratura painting. Biography He trained with Serafino Brizzi. He painted in the church of the Madonna del Baraccano, Bologna, Madonna del Baraccano in Bologna. In the year of his death, he was elected to the Accademia Clementina. Julio Bonetti
Julio Giacomo Bonetti (July 14, 1911 – June 17, 1952) was a right-handed pitcher in Major League Baseball for the St. Louis Browns and Chicago Cubs. He is one of only seven Italian-born Major League Baseball players in history. Bonetti made his major league debut with the Browns on April 22, 1937. He became a versatile pitcher for the lowly Browns that season, pitching in 12 games out of the bullpen (notching one save) and starting 16 others, seven of which he completed. He managed just a 4–11 record and a 5.84 ERA, but his ERA was actually better than the last-place team's average of 6.00. Nevertheless, in 1938 Bonetti pitched exclusively in relief, going 2–3 with a 6.35 ERA in 17 games. His contract was purchased by the Cubs in February 1939, and after some time in the minors, Bonetti worked his way onto the Cubs roster in April 1940. Mario Bonetti (March 3, 1888 – February 16, 1961) was an Italian admiral during World War II. Early life and career Mario Bonetti was born in Arezzo in 1888 and entered the Italian Naval Academy in Leghorn in 1906, graduating in 1909 with the rank of ensign. His first assignments were on armored cruisers ''Pisa'' and ''San Marco''; during the Italo-Turkish War Bonetti distinguished himself in command of landing parties in Derna and Tobruk, receiving the War Cross for Military Valor. During World War I, Bonetti served for 21 months on submarines with the rank of lieutenant, first on submarines ''F 7'' and ''F 13'' and later in command of ''F 10''; during this period he received a Silver Medal of Military Valor. Guido Bonatti (died between 1296 and 1300) was an Italian mathematician, astronomer and astrologer, who was the most celebrated astrologer of the 13th century. Bonatti was advisor of Frederick II, Holy Roman Emperor, Ezzelino da Romano III, Guido Novello da Polenta and Guido I da Montefeltro. He also served the communal governments of Florence, Siena and Forlì. His employers were all Ghibellines (supporters of the Holy Roman Emperor), who were in conflict with the Guelphs (supporters of the Pope), and all were excommunicated at some time or another. Bonatti's astrological reputation was also criticised in Dante's ''Divine Comedy'', where he is depicted as residing in hell as punishment for his astrology. Peter Philip Bonetti (27 September 1941 – 12 April 2020) was an English professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper for Chelsea, the St. Louis Stars, Dundee United and England. He was known for his safe handling, lightning reflexes and his graceful style, for which he was given the nickname "The Cat". He was one of several goalkeepers ( Gordon West of Everton was another) who specialised in a one-armed throw which could achieve a similar distance to a drop kick.
