Governor Of Bohol
The Governor of Bohol () is the local chief executive of the provincial government of Bohol, Philippines. The governor holds office at the Bohol New Provincial Capitol in Tagbilaran City and its official residence is at the Governor's Mansion (Bohol), Governor's Mansion located along Carlos P. Garcia Avenue in Cogon District, also in Tagbilaran. Like all local government heads in the Philippines, the governor is elected via first past the post, popular vote, and may not be elected for a fourth consecutive term (although the former governor may return to office after an interval of one term). In case of death, resignation or incapacity, the vice governor becomes the governor. Chocolate Hills

Awit Sa Bohol
"Awit sa Bohol" ( Boholano for 'Song of Bohol'), also known as the "Bohol Hymn", is the official anthem of the province of Bohol in the Philippines. History The song was composed by Justino Romea of Loon, a columnist for the '' Bohol Chronicle'' and a teacher at the Bohol School of Arts and Trades (now the Bohol Island State University), with Romea also writing the hymn's original English lyrics. Commissioned by Governor Lino Chatto, it was first played on March 1, 1970 by an all-female choir of the College of the Holy Spirit (now the Holy Spirit School of Tagbilaran) as the provincial flag was being raised during the opening ceremony for the East Visayan Athletic Association Games in Tagbilaran, the provincial capital. Tagbilaran
Tagbilaran, officially the City of Tagbilaran (; ), is a Cities of the Philippines#Legal classification, component city and capital of the Provinces of the Philippines, province of Bohol, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 104,976 people making it the most populous in the province. Tagbilaran is the principal gateway to Bohol, southeast of the national capital of Manila and south of the regional capital, Cebu City. Baclayon Church
Immaculate Conception Parish Church, also known as La Purisima Concepcion de la Virgen Maria Parish Church and Baclayon Church, is a Catholic Church, Roman Catholic Church (building), church in the municipality of Baclayon, Bohol, Philippines within the jurisdiction of the Diocese of Tagbilaran. Baclayon was founded by the Jesuit priest Juan de Torres and Gabriel Sánchez in 1596, and became the oldest Christian settlement in Bohol. It was elevated as a parish in 1717 and the present coral stone church was completed in 1727. The Augustinian Recollects succeeded the Jesuits in 1768 and heavily renovated the church since then. Erico Aristotle Aumentado
Erico Aristotle Cabagnot Aumentado (born December 29, 1977), also known in Bohol as Aris, is a Filipino businessman and politician. He was a member of the House of Representatives, representing the second district of Bohol. He is the Governor of the Province of Bohol, assuming office on June 30, 2022 but was preventively suspended on May 28, 2024 due to the controversial resort construction in the middle of the Chocolate Hills. He was reinstated by the Ombudsman on July 31. Calape
Calape, officially the Municipality of Calape (; ), is a municipality in the province of Bohol, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 33,079 people. Etymology Its name is derived from ''cape'', referring to either a species of rattan or to the local varietal of coffee, Kape Barako, both of which still grow abundantly there to this day. Batuan, officially the Municipality of Batuan (; ), is a municipality of the Philippines, municipality in the Philippine Province, province of Bohol, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 13,845 people. Batuan covers a total area of comprising fifteen barangays as per the Municipal Comprehensive Development Plan for 1983–1992. Panglao is an island in the north Bohol Sea, located in the Central Visayas region of the Visayas island group, in the south-central Philippines. Geography The island has an area of . It is within Bohol Province, and comprises two municipalities: Dauis, Bohol, Dauis and Panglao, Bohol, Panglao. Panglao island is located southwest of the island of Bohol and east and south of Cebu Island, Cebu. Panglao has a terrain that ranges from plain, hilly to mountainous. Bohol Provincial Board
The Bohol Provincial Board is the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (provincial legislature) of the Philippine province of Bohol. The members are elected via plurality-at-large voting: the province is divided into three districts, the first two sending three members to the provincial board, while the third sends four members; the electorate votes, and the number of winning candidates depends on the number of members their district sends. Baclayon, officially the Municipality of Baclayon (; ), is a municipality in the province of Bohol, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 22,461 people. It is the home town of actor Cesar Montano, and physicist Caesar Saloma. The town of Baclayon, Bohol celebrates its feast on December 10, to honor the town patron Immaculate Conception. Antequera, Bohol
Antequera, officially the Municipality of Antequera (; ), is a municipality in the province of Bohol, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 14,990 people. Popular places of interest in Antequera are the weekly basket market and Mag-Aso Falls. The Mag-Aso falls, whose cascading waters run into natural pools, were greatly altered by the 2013 Bohol earthquake and even more so by flash floods caused by Tropical Storm Seniang in December 2014.
