Bobby Jackson
Bobby Jackson (born March 13, 1973) is an American professional basketball coach and former player. He serves as the head coach of the Stockton Kings in the NBA G League, the development affiliate of the Sacramento Kings of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Basketball career Jackson graduated from Salisbury High School in 1992. He attended Western Nebraska Community College and the University of Minnesota before being selected by the Seattle SuperSonics with the 23rd pick in the 1997 NBA draft. As a Golden Gopher, Bobby Jackson led Minnesota to the Final Four, where they lost to the Kentucky Wildcats. He was traded to the Denver Nuggets prior to his rookie season where he played 68 games before moving on to a more familiar place in Minnesota where he donned a Timberwolves jersey for two seasons. Robert Lanier Jackson (born February 16, 1940) is an American former football coach and college player who was a professional assistant coach in the National Football League (NFL) for 21 seasons, including three as an offensive coordinator. In his NFL tenure, Jackson coached five Pro Bowl running backs, including at least one in three of his five stops where he has tutored the running backs. Bobby Gerald Jackson (January 10, 1936 – October 12, 2009) was a professional American football player who played defensive back for two seasons for the Philadelphia Eagles and Chicago Bears. Playing career He was the first starting quarterback for Bear Bryant at Alabama. In his senior season, he played in the Blue-Gray Classic in Montgomery, the Senior Bowl in Mobile and the College All-Star Game. He was drafted by the Packers in 1959 in the 7th round, but was released by the Packers. He was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles as a defensive back for the 1960 season, a season that was the Eagles' first title championship since 1949. After one season with the Bears, he retired, having played 21 games. He also served as a kick returner, with one return for five yards.
