Blue for Two was a Swedish alternative pop / rock duo that started in Gothenburg in 1984 of Freddie Wadling Berndt Arvid Freddie Wadling (2 August 1951 – 2 June 2016) was a Swedish singer born in Gothenburg, whose over-thirty-year musical career extended from punk to classical ballads. The band was most active in the 1980s and the 1990s. Blue for Two made a comeback with the album ''Tune the Piano, Hand Me a Razor'' in 2012 reaching No. 18 in the Swedish Albums Chart. Freddie Wadling
Berndt Arvid Freddie Wadling (2 August 1951 – 2 June 2016) was a Swedish singer born in Gothenburg, whose over-thirty-year musical career extended from punk to classical ballads. Band member Wadling played bass in a number of bands during the 1970s and early 1980s. One notable band was Liket Lever (which translates as "the corpse lives"). In the early 1980s, he joined the cult band Cortex. During this period, Cortex released the album ''Spinal Injuries'', in 1981. The track "The Freaks", sung by Wadling, became a signature song for him and was used in the soundtrack to '' Tjenare Kungen''. He also played in the bands Straitjacket, Leather Nun, and Fleshquartet. Wadling was also featured in band Kingdom of Evol. Henryk Lipp is a Polish-born Swedish musician, songwriter and music producer from Gothenburg, Sweden. Beginnings He started his musical career in the late 1970s and early 1980s with the Swedish band Extra alongside Anne-Lie Rydé, among others. In Blue for Two In 1984, he teamed up with Freddie Wadling to form the alternative rock duo Blue for Two with Wadling on vocals and Lipp as songwriter and on synthesizer. They went on to release a number of albums including with Wadling (on vocals) and Henryk Lipp as songwriter and synthesizers. They had a string of albums including ''Blue for Two'' (1986), ''Songs from a Pale and Bitter Moon'' (1988), ''Search & Enjoy'' (1992), ''Earbound'' (1994) and ''Moments'' (1997). Sator (band)
Sator is a Swedish rock band. The band was founded in Borlänge as Sator Codex in 1981. Sator Codex released one album, "Wanna Start A Fire?" and three singles before shortening their name in 1987 and continuing without their previous lead singer Björn Clarin and changing their sound. Sverigetopplistan (, lit. "the Sweden top list") is the Swedish national record chart, based on sales data from IFPI Sverige. It was formerly known as Topplistan (1975–1997) and Hitlistan (1998–2007) and has been known by its current name since October 2007. Before Topplistan, music sales in Sweden were recorded by Kvällstoppen, whose weekly chart was a combined albums and singles list.
