Alon Blue Square ( he, אלון רבוע כחול, ''Alon Ribu'a Kahol''), formerly Blue Square, is a private Israeli holding company, owned by Moti Ben-Moshe. It was founded as a retail chain, but subsequently branched out into real estate and other fields. This and other cooperative consumer clubs were run by the Consumer Cooperation Union, in turn run by HaMashbir HaMerkazi. The international community considers the establishment of Israeli settlements in the Israeli-occupied territories illegal on one of two bases: that they are in violation of Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention, or that they are in breach of international declarations.
